Statins....

you might not like Dr. Oz, but I think this is important....and, I think the reason my husband is on statins, even though his cholesterol is so good, they said he has the cholesterol of a young person, he's on Zocor (Simvastatin)
He DOES have high blood pressure and diabetes just like the lady in this segment....

Has the doctor used the term *metabolic syndrome*? Is he low carb? I think you need to do some research.

no, they didn't say that. He was just put on them when he had his TIA 2 years ago....

I wonder if THAT was the reason, even though his cholesterol was incredible. The doctor told him "you DO have high cholesterol, or you wouldn't have had the TIA" Well, he was wrong...

Pretty much standard protocol for those at risk of another TIA or heart attack.

Kristina, I hope your hubby does well on his regimen. Just for some extra research, google Dr. Graveline and his website, credible information to have in ones archives.
