Blood Test

Got my labs back today. My Triglycerides are 82, HDL 60, LDL 135 and total cholesterol 211. Should I be concerned with the total and LDL?

My question is what did the Dr. say about those results? Adding a but oil like walnut or macadamia oil will increase your hdl's and reduce your ldl's for ex. Is a choice. Use olive oil more and butter/red meats can reduce your ldl's too.
It all depends upon your weight and if you're on any medications too.

I got tested before i see the doctor next week, so she hasn't said anything yet. I exclusively use olive oil and am not on medication.

You may want to read up on LDL particle size. The short story is LDL can either be bad
or non harmful depending on the particle size. Usualy when your triglecerides are less than 2X what your HDL is like yours is the LDL will non harmful. Now some DR's would still want your LDL to be a little lower BUT the new school of thought would say your numbers are just about perfect!
