5 bypasses & valve replacement
That was on April 3,2009. I am 57 and sure didn't expect to go through anything like this. I have had chronically high triglycerides for years. They couldn't calculate the LDL because my triglyceride levels were so high. My total cholestrol was always in normal range so I didn't worry too much.
I lost 53 lbs on low carb in 2003 and kept it off give or take 10 lbs., but I went back to eating carbs and couldn't seem to stick with anything. I had the desire to lose the rest of the weight, but just didn't do it. I'm now diabetic too, so low carb is the best for me. I let my sugar get out of control and the cravings got worse. Now I am on low carb and feeling great. I read a book by Dr. Wayne Dyer called "Excuses Begone" and it is a great book for anyone that overeats or has other bad habits. Just wanted to drop in and say hi. I was on low carb friends a lot back in 2003. different user name though. Carol |
