Hope this is a better month. I think it might be. My son and his wife have the keys to their new place so they'll be moving out of my house in the next two weeks! Now, don't get me wrong, It hasn't been HORRIBLE having them there, it's just that I have two dogs, and THEY have two dogs, well, you get the picture. It's bittersweet. I know the house is gonna be REALLY quiet. But I feel like my stress level might go down a notch and MAYBE, just MAYBE I can concentrate on myself a little more.

I will always be mommy. I can't turn that off. No matter how hard I try.

Happy August to all! Judy thanks for starting us off - I love your graphics ~smile~ Terri, not only will you be able to concentrate on yourself when your son, dil and dogs move out but your house will stay amazingly clean from day to day! Anna, that is an ambitious goal for August . . . but I have no doubt you can achieve it.

I'm setting my August goal at 8# although I would be thrilled with 10# or so to scoot into the 7s . . .

Bad scale, wrong direction! lol Tomorrow will be the end of my 13th month! Although the scale hasn't moved that much in the past month, I know that my waist measurement definitely has! Will check the rest of my measurements tomorrow as well.

Bronwyn -- a full body massage sounds *amazing*!! I've been meaning to go get one also... just never can plan out the time! >_<

Count me in. I went through many months of slacking, then got serious again. I'm right at the 20 lbs. down mark today, and sooooo don;t want to lose momentum and sabotage myself in some way. Daily accountability will help!

Finally time that I can log in. I've been wanting to join in since Thursday; yesterday got kind of crazy.

End of the month: Thursday, 7/31: 235.6 lbs.

Going slow so that I can get this off and it stays off.

Well, scale didn't move that much this month! Also, as you can see, my "lowest" weight was 3 days ago on July 31 at 188.4, which would have meant I would be at 111.0 pounds total, and 4.6 pounds for the month, instead of 3.4 pounds.

However, my waist measurement went down 1.25 inches, which is the SAME amount it went down as last month, and I lost 9.6 pounds last month! My other measurements went down accordingly as well, and that indicates to me -- fat was lost, and lean mass was gained! Woohoo! I'm certainly happy about that!

However, I still want to do BETTER! Going to start with kicking my exercise up a notch! Instead of walking on cardio days, I'm going to be on my stair stepper instead -- there's no doubt that being on the stair stepper is more "work" than walking! I have no doubt that if I kept doing what I was I WOULD continue losing, just at a slower pace. I don't want to wait, I want shred this fat!!!
