Hey TheBelly: I'm as surprised as you are that I'm down to 120's -- my goal was 155 the lowest I've ever weighed (for like a couple of months) my entire adult life. But things just kept moving right a long...

Goodness gracious! If I weighed more than once a day, I would go NUTSO! I weigh the same time, same place, same circumstances. That's the only way (IMHO) you are comparing apples to apples. Otherwise, you are comparing your apple to a watermelon. IJS.

The reason I sometimes weigh more than once a day because different things are happening throughout my day. At the morning weigh-in (5-6am) i am still stuffed from the prior night's food and retaining water. The mid-morning weight (10am-11am) is the "real" weight usually a loss from the morning weight. Then there is the 3pm'er i called it. Usually this is where I get the first peek of a gain or loss for the next. hey its my system I call upon once and while when I see stalls from the morning weight. Hey I am know I am nuts but I have friends - ya'll - I know you guys are doing quirky stuff too

Yeah, there’s a few of us out here like that.
I weigh at 6am, 4pm when I get home, after dinner sometime and usually twice more before bed.. Borderline obsessive.
I actually noticed my hubby lingering around the bathroom these last few days, I think because he knows I won’t weigh while he’s there.. I get the impression he thinks I’m doing it too much.

Personally, I think you all need to keep doing what you and not let anyone bother you about it!! If it's working for you, what's the harm??? Some people on here hassle me about weighing once a day. Whatever....

Today is day 8 without a gain or a loss. I seriously hope that means I found my "sweet spot"

May 1 - 13 = 124
May 14 - today = 123 -1

I think I will analyze my diet for the past couple of weeks and actually count carbs/calories/fat. Looks like I've come up with my maintenance formula! I could probably use this information later!

Cudabear we are in Munich and Garmich. We just spent a few days in Salzburg ,Austria. It is so beautiful here and they have so many cafés with baked goods. The Alps are amazing. I have done so bad with eating. I'll be home soon back to healthy eating.

Sammi....I envy you. My Dad came here from Germany when he was 17. I visited where he was born in 1994. He never did make it back before he died. He was from Hertzhorn....about 50 miles Northwest of Hamburg. There is no way I could "diet" in Germany. The food is amazing....especially the baked goods.

Terri....I, too, have figured out how to maintain. Now to get off 50 to 75 lbs. That's what I haven't been able to do. This month is almost gone and I'm NOT doing very well.

Congrats to all the losers!!

HUGE to all the LOSERS today! For those that aren't, remember the scales are EVIL!!

May 1- 13 = 124
May 14 - today (24th) = 123 (Day 10 with no weight loss!!)

Wow I was super hungry yesterday, I think it was the emotional stress of the last day of school and saying goodbye to the kiddos until August. But I ate because I was hungry and everything was "LEGAL" so that's always a blessing!!
