Sorry, your going through induction withdrawls, the good thing about it is your getting your system to start burning food differently and you should start feeling much better soon! Congrats on the first four lbs gone!! You're off to a great start!

WOE: High Fat, Low Carb
Start Date: Restart 4-5-14 -- 287.0
I'm 287, and today 4-15-14 is my restart since gaining weight back and messing around with the forumula of what works and "trying" instead of "doing". My conservative goal will be 277 on 5-1-14. However, my REAL goal I'm going to make to challenge myself is 270.0 on 5-1-14. I believe this is within the healthy realm of possibility because #1 I'll be expecting a Whoosh weight loss, #2 I'm drinking more water thatn diet soda right now because I'm on a medication that requires more water, etc., and #3 I know if I get my bahookisk into the gym this goal of 270.0 is doable. So here goes....have a wedding to go to on 3-15-15, and want to weigh 150. I can only accomplish that with workouts, and staying low and healthy carb.

Cindy....I know how those donuts and other foods at time just have our name written all over them..LOL,, have to change my name lol..
Welcome to anyone I have not said that too and glad to meet you....

Yes I am happy to know that I was able to enjoy afew days off to have fun away and not get off track and to even lose...but now is the real test...I took a couple of pictures of myself just for myself to keep to see the difference for now as I go along...The test is just remember this new body will show its changes when it gets ready toooo and not before lol Time to think back and know that if I can lose 24 lbs now I will lose 24 more again and not be think of .....oh I want to look a lot different....I know that I have lost in my clothes but other people will not see that yet as I do...so on to my next goal and keep my food plan on track....

Well to late for B so I will have brunch..lol....Scrambled eggs ( I bought one of Atkins chili dinners for $1.00 at Walmart the other day) so I put it on top of my eggs...and added cheese....
L....none
S...grilled chicken and garden salad...ranch...

Hello all,
I did get home friday night March 28th from the rehab with nurses and therapists coming every other day. Went to see one doc Fri and will see another one Monday. They restricted my fluids in rehab and had me on sodium tablets as the part of the brain that was hurt had to do with BP. I don't understand it all. But now I have to make sure I drink enough water. My tastes have changed. I have no desire for raw veggies which I used to eat loads of. I did gain 15-20 lbs even though I ate as healthy as I could. No meat, eggs, or dairy. I go from hot to cold to hot etc. Rib still healing. Headaches, dizziness, balance biggest problems. Had 2 seizures on the first day so can't drive for six months. Hopefully will be able to work from home. Am out until May 6th at least. Need to get energy level back. Eyesight has changed.

I am determined to recover. One thing this taught me is that life is fleeting. We think we have all the time in the world. I was shopping in a store. The next thing I know I was in NeuroICU from falling and fracturing my scull in a dept store. No reason. No witness. No apparent videos. I have no memories. So I have this moment to live. I have this moment to change. I have this moment to be the person I have always wanted to be.

A couple days after returing home my mother in law passed away at 90 years old. It was a celebration of her life. She was able to return to her husband who had passed away 8 yers ago. They had been married 62 years.

This whole time opened my eyes to those in my life who are selfless and those who are not. The scroll have been written. My DD has been with us for 2 weeks helping my DH with the house and meals. Her BF has cooked meals and froze them so we wouldn't have to worry. She has been cleaning, helping me organize things. Life seems so overwhelming to both my DH and myself. The Ipad has been a Godsend. One day at a time.

Sunday Check In ~ Had a great weekend away. Funny, they had some computers at the hotel but you had to use a credit card. Crazy. Really enjoyed the concert and it was awesome that the hotel was right across the street. Walked lots both days - eating was so so - drank too much alcohol and not enough water.

Tomorrow is a new day. Heck with that .... right now is a new moment!

Mary ~ So nice to hear from you. How scary

Jess ~ How was your dinner out?

Lady ~ Awesome that you had a good time and stayed on track

Reptogirl ~ Sorry that you aren't feeling well but woo hoo on the pounds gone.

Kathy ~ Well deserved dancing and jumping

Elizabeth ~ Looking forward to getting to know you and thanks for sharing your comments about "doing" instead of "trying" - that really resonated with me.

kath17 - Way to go!!!
Marymary - You and your family and are in my prayers.

I have been doing well. I have a dinner to go to tonight at an Italian restaurant, so I will probably just have a salad while I am there and then if I'm still hungry I'll eat something at home.

Hello!!! I'm back!! Some cable guy cut the wire to our house so we have been without internet and cable since Wednesday! They said the problem was our modem and sent a new one. It didn't work. Finally repairman came yesterday evening and fixed everything. He had to reset even my tablet and iPhone.
My BFF came Friday and went back home today. My grandson was born on her birthday so we celebrated both. It was first birthday for grandson with Elmo theme. I posted some pics on 300 support thread.
Yay me!! Didn't eat bday cake for either of them.

Kathy Congratulations!
Mary- so scary. Glad you are doing better. You are in my prayers.
Elizabeth- I too have a wedding to attend in May '15-my son's. And I would like to be at 150 too. Let's do this!

Had a fun weekend with DD at her volleyball tournament where her team won 1st place! We brought tons of food- deviled eggs, tuna salad, Caesar salad, salami w/cream cheese, nuts and strawberries. It was so easy to stay on plan and not feel deprived.

Had mostly a good day yesterday, drank more water than usual and was feeling lightheaded for awhile; think I flushed out too many minerals. I had gotten several new pants over the weekend that are two sizes smaller than I had been wearing and was feeling pretty self-conscious all day. It's such an adjustment not wearing clothes that are super baggy. But, no choice but to wear them, I got rid off the bigger ones so I couldn't be tempted to keep wearing them!

LOL, me too, pulling them up and rolling them at the waist. I hope they're looking ok, I think my legs look better in pants that fit better.

Tuesday Check In ~ Great eating, walking tape, steps and I drink more water. Other than that it was a LONG day. Days are only going to get longer as I finish getting ready for my big event on Saturday.

Kathy ~ Sorry you felt self-conscious, I am sure you look amazing in your new clothes.

Way to go Lady

Oncloud ~ Once you get used to them, you will not miss having pants that you need to pull up

Wednesday Check In ~ OMG, I'm so stressed, I've lost my keys that I use for the Treasure at the event on Saturday.

Eating, walking tape and steps were FABULOUS today, could have maybe drank more water but I had a meeting a lots of running around to do.

Tomorrow is an office day to finalize a bunch of details and I'm going to drink a bunch of water.

Reptogirl ~ that is awesome.

Oncloud

Mary

Hope everyone else is doing good. Just maybe I'll be rewarded on the scale this week.
