Wow, January went by so fast! And I'm down 25 lbs from January 1! Even though I know that my weight loss will slow considerably from here on out, it's still gratifying to see that number on my scale. And I won the weight loss challenge between family members by a tiny margin, so I am happy.
I have gotten through the continual cravings for Dr. Pepper, largely thanks to the sweet tea flavored water enhancer that I drink now and then. It gets me over that urge for something sweet. Now if I could just make it fizzy.
I don't get to this board as often as I'd like, but I do enjoy coming here for the encouragement and celebration with others who are successful in their quest to be healthier.

I have squirted those water flavoring liquids into bubbly water... You have to do it slowly though! The first time I did it I just squeezed it in and it foamed up and shot out of the bottle all over rhe break table at work. It was black cherry flavor and it stained the table pink! Lucky that I had some bleach spray... No one was the wiser
Next time I just put a little in at a time and watched and waited for any reactions.
