Deb, I love the picture of the little bit of snow and all the cars. Here when it rains, even a little people freak out and there are accidents all over. If it were to snow, I wouldn't dare go out and drive among the drivers here lol

I love February. My wedding anniversary is Feb 7th. Feb 20th 2005 my now husband asked me to be his girlfriend. A lot of good things in this month for me. Black history month <3

I took my youngest baby in to get surgery today. Its one thing to do surgery on other animals, when its mine have to see the vet or have anything done I freak out. I wanted to get Furby neutered a long time ago, but he is an abuse victim so it took my some time to where he trusted other people again. Thought I would share some pictures of my babies. Furby is my youngest, is the grey one. Jazz is the middle and he is the orange tabby with the gold eyes, and Jigs is my oldest, he is the ginger tabby. I adopted Jazz first, then Jigs before they were euthanized, and furby I rescued from the street.

In other news I lost 15.2lbs last month. Mostly in the first week, now the weight is barely moving, but at least its moving in the direction I want. I feel better, and I finally got out of 320s, barely but did it

Vella marie, yhanks for sharing your pics. Just beautiful. Your grey one, Furby, is beautiful. What a lucky cat!

Can't sleep. Woke up an hour ago. Just going with the flow.

I tried sprouting chick peas this week, this helps to tirn a bean into a vegetable releasing lots of nutritive powers. They were actually quite tasty and I got no real gas, the way I might from the real bean.

One of my favorite Cary Grant films. I have a collection of his movies; love them!

Deb, thanks for starting the thread again!

Vella, love the pics of your cats.

I started February on a good start did 1/2 mile of the mile walking tape and a couple minutes on the eliptical. I think my main source of exercise still needs to be my exercise bike. It's really difficult to do 100 percent weight-bearing yet. I feel pain from old injuries..... slow and steady. On the bike I can push myself much more.

I know it's not easy. I think what's motivating me is that I know it's genuinely possible for me to actually get under 300; I really didn't know or fully expect to still be going strong and now I know I can get into the 200s and it almost feels like I'm desperate to get there. I want it so bad and exercise is going to help me get there and hopefully beyond.

You're right Kathy. I know this in my mind but my body just hasn't followed yet. I'm sure that is a lot of the reason my loss has halted. It's so cold and I should just walk in the house. I'm really going to try today. Going to get a much needed perm today with my DSis and that will add some steps. I wish I had a bike. I might do that and watch tv. Who knows??

Awww, they don't make many like him anymore. Maybe Richard Gere?? Awww!!
Snow is gone!! Yay!! 50's today! Think I'll see if I can get a tan. Lol.
Are you all watching the Super Bowl today? We probably will but don't really keep up with football. 266 again today. I walked a mile yesterday. Don't laugh all you great walkers out there. That's the most exercise in one day for me in quite a while.

No church today, so I am home for one more day. Tomorrow is payday, so I will have to attempt the roads tomorrow. Today is tax day. We farm, so it takes quite some time to get all paperwork ready for the CPA. My son and his family are on a "cation" on a "great big boat" as my 4 year old granddaughter says. That means grandpa has to hold down the fort after he gets home from work. This ice puts a whole different slant on things. We have two hired hands, but they take a lot of supervision or they get to thinking on their own. That can be dangerous. They are calling for 6 inches of snow Tuesday night.

Kathy!! Wow!! Just noticed that you started just a bit earlier than me and have lost 90 lbs. I have lost 55. I looked back and I was at 270 on November 5. I am down 4 lbs for 3 months! Haha. I do have a renewed hope. If I don't lose in the next few days, I'm going to try MaryMary's plan she posted on the Valentines Challenge thread. A week or two of that might hopefully help me get started again. ??!

Kathy-I was raised on a farm. My daddy was cotton and soybean farmer and raised black Angus cattle. We didn't have chickens or any other animals. I rode my bike all over and loved it.
