Anne!

Oncloud congrats on the new car!

Deb; glad you made it through a stressful couple of days!

I'm doing good; have been a bit under the weather, but lots of vitamin C is getting me through it. I'm so close to 90 lbs gone, but scale isn't cooperating in reaching it yet. Who knew I'd ever wish to see 325?

Kathy

Prayers that Kenny gets the'real' job!!!
They asked for us to babysit Saturday while they look at houses. Yay!!! They are in a small apartment now with their two cats and little dog. Three people and three animals are a lot for a two bedroom, two bath apartment. If they can find a house with reasonable rent they will have a yard for animals and Fox!!
Rest up MaryMary!
I have snacked too much today...

I'm claiming it.... 324.6 this morning!! 90lbs gone it doesn't feel like I've lost that much, but there are so many improvements in how I feel since starting in May; I can walk and stand much longer, my back hurts much less, overall I have much more energy, My seatbelt buckles so much better, I laugh a lot more, everyday looks more promising.....it's good stuff! Still, I can't wait to get below 300.

Deb, good luck to Ken for the interview! Take care of youself too, rest up

Kathy

i have been enjoying watching the 600 lb. weight loss stories on TV. anyone else? i can so relate to them. if i hadn't used restraint, i could have been one of those people. even at my highest i didn't eat like some of those people. not that i wouldn't have loved to try it.

today, i put off eating until 2pm, fully planning on eating my entire day's food within an hour. i ended up full, content, and happy. that's one thing i miss so much about life pre-diet: feeling truly satisfied.

when i spread my food throughout the day, i never feel in the slightest bit satisfied, always yearning for that full feeling. why does that make me feel so wonderful? maybe i should eat all my food within an hour, but the waiting game drives me nuts.

anyone else have this same mentality? i feel like i'm alone in this respect, most of the time. and when i watch those shows on people losing so much weight, listen to their emotions/fears, i feel in good company.

last season there were 4 people. this season, they've already shown 2 people. i wish they'd do more on updates to see whether or not they've kept the weight off.

supposedly only 5% of gastric bypassers actually keep their weight off.

Below you will find your to-do list for Saturday. We are focusing on the laundry/utility/basement area! Remember, don't put pressure on yourself to get it all done. If you pick 3 items--in any combination--you will make a difference in your home today.

SIMPLE TASKS:

1. Do 1 load of non-clothing laundry.
2. Check to see that your smoke alarms are working.
3. Add to (or begin) the garage sale/donation box.

INTERMEDIATE TASKS:

1. Clean/vacuum the stairs.
2. Clean the floor.
3. Clean out a box, bin, or basket.

CHALLENGING TASKS:

1. Take inventory of cleaning supplies.
2. Clean the space behind/beneath the washer and dryer.
3. Scale the pile that is Mt. Everest, and leave no dirty clothes unwashed.

Woke up and can't go back to sleep. Hate nights like this!
Loved spending with our little Fox today!! He is so good. Doesn't cry and fuss. Of course Pawpaw and I give him no reason to. Lol.
Great news!! They are looking for a house close to us!! So we can help with baby!!! We are overjoyed! Never thought this would happen.

Share a pic; would love to see. I have no talent for sewing; but I'm always amazed that people can do all those pieces that a quilt needs.

Deb, I love your to do list. So organized. Do you make one of these daily or weekly?

We got about 6" snow yesterday, big huge flakes, very pretty to watch. We have lots errands to run today since we didn't do much yesterday.
