Hello everyone, praying for your health, Shelly.

So much talk here today that I missed. Those little girl bedspreads are adorable. Please post some pics when you have some done. Is Ken talented with wood? That would be a great way to get him to think more positively by helping children have the legacy of his woodworker skills.

Will check back later.

All artists work in what looks like clutter to some. I think you just have your materials handy. You are very lucky to have a good place to store everything and work with it too!

I had to take one of my kitties back to the place I adopted her from. She has an ongoing and frustrating habit of peeing on the carpet. We are probably going to have to replace the carpet but in the meantime I've got some of that cat pee neutralizer stuff...and a black light which isn't working out AT ALL. I'm going to have to get down on my hands and knees and sniff which I'm not looking forward too. It's really painfull for me to be on hands and knees. The other cat is doing great, Mauley the black and white one. After I get the carpet situation fixed I'm going to get another cat. She misses her buddy. I just didn't have the time or patience or know-how to deal with the urine problem.

So today is the big day! I now have 10 days off of work so I thought this would be a good time to offically start low carb. My start weight is 311. Gosh, I've gained 40 pounds from my low weight. Looking forward to getting back down there, and then below!

Deb, as you make more, they will be "plumber" and "squarer." I'd say it is good therapy for Ken. Everyone need to feel productive.

lol i hope so Lucky! it really did him some good DOING something he could do even though he had to sit for most of it and Steven cut all the wood. i think i will have Steven go ahead and cut the wood for another of those (or if i have enough wood a different kind of bed ) and it will give Ken something to look forward to next week as well
what are you into today? we are going to be above freezing! Rexie is playing in the sun! Have you heard anymore about your DD's instruments?? OH and i forgot to ask!! how did your granddaughters like the doll outfits you made for Christmas???

Debbie, she really didn't pay much attention to the dresses because she didn't bring her doll.
None of my daughter's instruments were damaged. She lost some props for her plays and there was water on her sound system. They have fans blowing on the sound system and will try it out today to see if it will work. She also lost some posters that were from the 60's. She still used them, but can probably do something on the smart board to replace them.

I have Nature's Miracle for cat urine. It works really well, the trick is finding the spots to put it on!

No she didn't have a UTI. She was perfectly healthy. She's been peeing outside the box since I got her and it just went on too long, and then after I moved into a house with carpet....well she's ruined it.

One full day of LC eats under my belt now.

Deb, if you want to make more wood crafts, my daughter goes into the scrap part of Lowe's and Mennards and gets scrap wood for $1 or so. Sometimes, if the right person is working, they give it to her. Might be worth a try. Also, there are a lot of patterns on Pinterest for pallets if you know of a source for those.

thanks Lucky next time i get to go to lowes i will ask
honestly these smaller things might just be the ticket for ken to feel a little better he is used to being able to do BIG things i found my batting LOL and some really ugly orange polyester and i think after my shower i am going to make an ugly mattress LOL oh shot i need to look for some small buttons for the tufts i think all my embroidery floss got burned up and i am not sure regular thread by itself would be strong enough for the tufts
thank you so much for your ideas Lucky! i wish we were together so you could teach me how to knit!
