I'm purposely not weighing today. Yesterday was my birthday and my dad has surgery so eating was crazy bad. Tonight we're going out to dinner for my birthday so again, it wont be pretty. Soooo. Start again on Sunday and go from there! Great job everyone, I see consistant downward trends which is super. I know I'll have a blip but its simply a speed bump on a downward journey Have a great weekend all!

Bah! This up and down is driving me crazy!

I know that it is just a slow spiral down, I know that it isn't fair and I also know that "life isn't fair", but I would love to get into the next decade soon. I have really lost my obsession with food. I'm eating well and not eating much. Food is losing it's importance--and that is good. I still enjoy it, but I'm not snacking at all. I have to appreciate the little things, I guess.

Sorry for the late post, I was gone all day. That also means I really didn't eat much today either. My daughter was doing an all day cheer event down at the University of Washington so there was no food available anywhere nearby. I took some almonds and my protein shake and some beef stick pieces. Unfortunately my tummy wasn't feeling well all day, so I mostly drank water. I also walked for what seems like miles. I am so tired right now. See you all in the morning.

Well, if I needed affirmation that carbs and I don't mix, this two day "celebration" with carbs has proved that. Today, I'm back at my starting weight with just 2 days of "normal" eating. It just goes to prove that this is the way my body needs! So, I'm in essence starting over again... (ugh but I knew there would be a bounce, just didn't anticipate an ENTIRE bounce....lol). I'm more knowledgeable now though and focused. I'm going to "confess" my foods here as well as weight for accountability (sorry if its TMI, but I really need to do it)

Breakfast - 2 hard boiled eggs, 1/2 c CC milk
Lunch - 6 medium shrimp in a smidge of cocktail sauce
PM snack - tilapia filet (2oz)
Dinner - taco spiced ground beef bake

BackOnTrack~~ hang in there and just go back into clean eating and lots of water. You didn't really *gain* all that weight back, it's not fat..just keep hydrating and doing what you know, the scale will go back down!
