Jennifer we're almost out of the 190s go us!!!

China Doll, I'm in the country so I enjoy the drive home. We have a beautiful river to cross on the way, the limestone cliffs by the road that are so pretty, and all the fall foliage with all the colors. It's a great drive. Now once snow hits I won't think so but I'm enjoying it now.

Yay us! Too bad I made chocolate chip cookies for my kids today and ate a few. I may be holding some water tomorrow. I can already see it on my ankles. Stupid move on my part as I am a major cookie monster and was doing so well the last couple of days. This was the first time I have done any baking in over 5 months.

Spent yesterday in the kitchen cooking ahead so I'm not tempted to do the "easy" thing (my downfall for sure!) Had a blast trying out some great recipes from on here. Had almond flour pancakes which was a super treat and made food for the entire week so I can be lazy and heat and go (since its just me, I have an easier time than most of you). I also an self employed and work from home so I have to avoid temptation...lol. Have a great Monday everyone and great work on the downward trends!

Again. I had a "few" goodies over the weekend. by "few" I mean TWO. TWO Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pies. TWO. For crying out loud. AAANND I still had them withing my ONE HOUR EATING WINDOW that I allow myself each day. This is our lot. Imagine my numbers if I would have enjoyed a full on BINGE? Life ain't fair, I tell yah.

(but hey, the skinnys still fit )

Terri, I know EXACTLY how you feel! I started out at 400lbs (embarrassed to admit but at least now I CAN admit it!) and I swear, I looked at food and gained... then I tried soo many different types of eating in my downward journey and I have discovered that no matter what plan/woe that I try, THIS is the ONLY one that my body responds to. I will say that on this WOE I'm also not hungry, which after having been through other woe that make you want to knaw on your knuckles cause you're sooo hungry, that's huge to me! Keep up the good work and keep wearing those skinnies! I've got a pair hanging on the back of my closet door where I see them every time I go in there..prolly should hang them in the kitchen... Anyways, keep up the great work and don't worry bout the cakes, it was just a passing moment and you're back on track!

Z, Laura, China Doll---I got down to 267 in October. I just bounced up to 270on the 1st. My weight does a lot of bouncing, I rarely have linear loss. I expect to bounce up tomorrow.


My high weight was 292 back in March. I fell off the wagon over the summer. My high weight for Sept was 286 and my low for that month was 274. So I started Oct at 274 and got down to 267 towards the end of the month. So that's 12lb loss for Sept and a 7lb loss for Oct. My overall loss so far this year is 25lbs.

I appreciate your candor and also that your weight has not gone down in a straight line. I have been rocking back and forth from 212.5 to 212.0 for more than a week. It is disheartening in a lot of ways--but the truth is that I lost about 6.5 lbs. for October--and I started in the middle of the month.

You just keep posting and I think that you are doing a great job. I have gotten so much support from this thread. You are all great! You never know when what you say encourages someone to stay the course.

My #1 reason for staying with it is that I feel so good! The #2 reason is the support. Believe me, I never got this with WW and a dozen other things that I have tried over the years.

This is so true, I say this to myself everyday! Time passes by so quickly, I can do this, just one more day ,one week, one month, one year. When it gets really bad I say just the next meal. Everyday is difficult, but I knew this going in. It would be so easy to give in, but I keep thinking food will not control me.

Laura, I love tomato juice. When I use to buy the big bottle, I would drink it all within hours. I can't have it in my house. I can't handle it. Just writing about it makes me crave it!

BecBelle, I know your weight has been bouncing around, but look at you now. Great job!

Still riding this rocking horse! I am going to push water today and see how that works.

I had very little to eat yesterday. It was busy and just didn't cook. I did stick to this WOE, but I think that no veggies might not be a good idea. I had a small handful of spinach with my breakfast--tossed in with scrambled eggs and ground pork with a bit of cheese. Best meal of the day. Lunch was a cup of coffee with cream. Dinner was two slices of pork roast--cold that I had made a couple of days ago. I just don't think that I had enough water. I did have a slice of cheese late in the afternoon.

If anyone has a comment about my food above, please have at it. I am always open to any ideas!

Everyone is looking good! Ya'll are staying the course, even if you are tempted by something. At least you are honest and say what is happening.
