I went to Savers this afternoon. It is sort if like a for profit Goodwill. They take donations that can be written off as charity and resell. They have all sizes. I picked up some baby clothes for little Emma Jennie. Figure she will be in newborn or 3 months for a bit and at the prices, you can't go wrong. I was looking at sweaters. They were about $7. But on Tuesday's it is senior's day and we get a discount so I will probably go back. There were a few cute pullovers. I don't know if they will fit but was looking at mediums.

I am planning on having my arms reduced in April/May timeframe. I want to enjoy them for the summer time with sleeveless dresses and tops. It has been so long and I just ordered a couple from Eddie Bauer's.

Spent the afternoon cookinh a chili from a vegan cookbook. At least it would have been until I added a pound of hamburger at the end. Made my cranberry relish for our morning smoothies and cereal. And cooked up some greens (Trader Joes) with babyportabellas and onions/garlic with hot peppers.

Just relaxing niw and heading for bed soon.

oncloud9-- Gaudy! You? Nahhhhh! Nothing wrong with shiny shiny
You're too sweet, yes, I'm feeling better, and like I said, in my dreams I may have been a cheerleader!

Mary--I've never been to Savers but I've heard alot of great things about them. I've got a friend who manages for one and she says they do alot of their communities, etc...great company! I hope you find lots of great things worth buying.
I would love to "enjoy" my arms, right now it seems nothing but a pipedream!

Have a great day, ladies! DH is off today so I'm sure he'll keep me busy busy busy!

Danielle- Don't let DH work you too hard today!

Mary- Sounds like a good store for deals. We don't have a Savers, just Goodwill and some consignment stores. I did get a baby bed for my house from a consignment store for $30 though. It's a beautiful cherry wood. We are going to buy a new mattress for it for our little Fox and any babies DD may have. I just hope she doesn't wait till we're too old to enjoy them! LOL

I saw a lot of the damage done by bad weather in the mid-west. I hope you all were safe.

i'm glad my bf and i decided not to go out storm chasing (one of our hobbies)! we live in iowa, so it would have been a decent drive, and with the baby on the way now we are a lot more cautious! it was terrible to see the pictures of the damage!

WOE: No set diet - doing 20 net carbs daily

Weighed myself yesterday, down 5lbs - 15 more to go for my goal for this term! Thank you all for your wonder greeting And you all are right, it's not a race. I have a lot more to loose than most of you. Going to say something, I don't usually admit. I started at 415lbs. Currently at 310lbs. My goal is 160lbs. I plan on having excess skin surgery ($$$yikes!!) when I'm all done. I have not had any time of surgery to help me lose weight - I'm too stubborn for that. I thank my lucky stars that my daughter's boyfriend (husband as of last month) was with me a year ago, when I was shopping. Told him I was going to look for "diet type" food and he recommended low carbing - can't thank him enough!!

Hello ladies!! Not much going on here.....made some mini cheeseballs the other day....I made 32 balls and figured them to be about 2 carbs each...so much nicer then making one giant ball...this way I can freeze them and just take out a few at a time to enjoy with celery, cucumber slices, pork rinds , pepperoni chips...or just by themselves No weightloss to report..been fluctuating up and down in the 260's for way too long...need to regain my focus!!! I will not gain back what I've lost,....that's just not an option...lol

I didn't weigh today so I don't know if my yucky pound is back or not. DH is getting a rotisserie chicken for dinner. I think Brussels sprouts as side.

Kleweless, you are doing fantastic ! Look how far you have come already! Bravo!

Danielle , great job, congrats!

Christine, I buy one of those chickens once a week. Our grocery store has them cooked fresh everyday, but on Fridays you can get two for 10.00 or one for 5.00. I make quite a bit of chicken salad. I love it.

Have a great day ladies.

Yeh! To all the losers. It is only Nov 21st and it feels like Dec 21st. I had to take DH to the hospital for his final (we hope) battery of tests. He was exhausted afterward as the tests made him very nervous.

I had a bad feeling coming home yesterday. I had gotten some strange calls on my cell that I missed. Tried to call them back last night but couldn't reach her so keft a message. I had a flashback of my schedule at work this week. I was trying to see the vacation day I had requested on it and wasn't sure if I saw it in my mind's eye. I didn't call in in the morning because I thought I had requested a vacation day. I coukd swear it was on the vacation list. But my stomach is queasy thinking about this. I don't start until 11:15 am today. I have a doctor's appt at 9:30. I had put the appt in my calendar so I wouldn't forget it. I will be sooo embarassed if I forgot to request the day off. I thought I did. Say a prayer. I am going to call them in a few minutes to see if I can locate her. She is out of town this week on business.

I have the brussel sprouts shaved and stirred fried with carrots onions celery and anything else. Having them today with lunch. Problem is, they give me gas. So I am going to throw some caraway seed in too to help. Keep your fingers crossed it works. I don't eat them often because of that. I try to eat green cooked veggies at lunch and orange cooked at supper. Raw salad at lunch and really big raw salad at supper. Yesterday I tried soy tempeh at lunch too stirred fried with soy sauce. It was really good. It contains B-12 which is something that normally we get from eating animal meat. The animals get it from eating the grass that grows in the dirt. It actually comes from the dirt. Since I am not going to eat dirt, I can take a supplement, drink soy milk that is fortified or eat tempeh occasionally. Seaweed also has it and I eat that once in a while.

The work situation is okay. I did request the day off via email and it was approved on 10/14, however, they never put it on my schedule. So my premonition was right on when my mind's eye didn't see it on the schedule. At least I know I am not losing my mind. They were all worried when I didn't show up for work and the schedule thought I was supposed to be. It's nice to know someone cares.

Yesterday, I saw a new low at 143.4 lbs. i need to update my profile info pretty soon when it sticks. I usually give it until the first of the month to officially record it there.

I bought a new dress so am going to try and get a pic taken in it for the avatar.

I finally lost a 1/2 pound . . . . after a 7 week stall!
Three days in a row, so I think it is real loss.
Wasn't my best period of sticking to plan. No big offs but several small ones that likely added up.
I will take the 1/2, though. I had started second guessing giving away my mostly size 14 jeans, but off they go this weekend.
