How long do you think in the broiler? What a good way for me to feel like I'm having "poppers"!

I'd say about 10 minutes. I would love to do poppers but I have an addiction to cream cheese. Lose all my self control and make ridiculous fattening concoctions with them.

Those do sound tasty! I see those mini-peppers at my grocery store all the time, I'll have to get a pack. I'm a cream cheese lover also! I make jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon, then pop them in the oven. Now that's some "diet" food I can live with.

I do too...which is why this will need to be my go-to for that popper-style fix...I'm not allowed to buy cream cheese anymore in my house

I used to buy sweet peppers stuffed with cheese at our deli. They were delicious . I never thought to make them. They will be on my grocery list this week.

Laura you are doing so good! Yay!!

Really, everyone is on a roll. This is wonderful.

I am still playing catch up from my trip. I ordered low carbs for dinner, but then I started picking at French fries on the table. I haven't had fries in probably two years. I knew it was wrong, but I did it anyway. Once I started, it was like I couldn't stop. I know I must stay away from any bad carbs because I'm like an addict, out of control. Thank goodness It was only one meal. I have not slipped since that night. Right back on the program. I can see how easy it would be to go back to the over eating. On the positive side, in DC I did quite a bit of walking, something I could not have done three months ago. This makes me very happy!

Have a great day.

Sammi, I know exactly what you mean about the addiction! That's why carb addiction should be treated as any other! I'm the same way! Those yummy carbs just make you want more and more.

Z and Laura, You guys are the STUDS!

Where is Zay? Belly? Whatever happened to Frankie? ???

I have been going a little high on my carbs the past few days. I don't have some of my food staples on hand so I have been munching on other stuff. I am trying to get back on track. I am just so addicted to candy and cookies that if they are around, I really don't have enough willpower.

I'm sorry you've been sick! That is probably a huge reason why you've been sitting at the same weight for a little bit. Hang in there, ketosis will be yours again very soon.

Sammi~ I was thinking the same thing! Some crock pot stuff would be lovely now that it's cooling off.
I think it's safe to say that you will firmly not go above 241 You're doing GREAT!

I was a bad girl yesterday. Being extra good today. I've got my bottle of water and a salad in front of me. I follow a lower carb, lower calorie diet so I figure if I overdo carbs, I'm still good with my calories and vice versa. It's just amazing to me how fast I gain water weight after eating carbs!

Finally!
I am celebrating each loss. I think resuming my walking helped. I am going to order a crockpot today. I've been reading the threads about fat bombs. I would love to make them, but I can't because I don't trust myself not to eat the whole batch in one day. Snacks are too hard for me to control.

Jennifer don't worry about the slip, you are human. Shake it off, today is a new day.
