Had my dr. appt today. She is my weight loss doctor who put me on this woe. She also did my blood draw for my first set of labs after starting this woe and losing 39#'s. Can't wait to see the results. I haven't seen her for about 5 weeks and she was super impressed that I had lost 12 pounds and that time included our trip/cruise.

Scale is down some today... not enough but some...plus not enough sleep today. BF texted me an woke me up. Can't think of a better way to wake up though at least while he's still living out of town...

Hi Y'all I know it's already the 4th of the month. I am a daily weigher I figured I'd join y'all. I also keep a written log and written chart of my weight. So anyway here is the month so far.

Yep, Low Carb is the only way to control PCOS. I am seeing a dr. who specializes in PCOS and this is what she put me on. I am basically on induction for the duration of my weight loss. I only eat meat, eggs, cheese, limited zero carb dairy and some leafy greens. I am off nuts, starchy veggies and all grains and starches.

Jennifer, I was diagnosed way back in 2004 and both my PCP and OBGYN recommended LC but I just would not commit to it. I wish I would have right way. Instead I let years pass and the weight and the symptoms piled on until I had to do something.

If I count my carbs carefully I drop weight. It just sounds so easy, but very hard to do.

Not too much going on this weekend. Maybe a movie. I am going to try hard not to eat out.
