Happy October!!!

Its 12:05am - so yes its October!

I hope everyone is doing well I didn't make it online earlier, I was paying bills and budgeting and adding and subtracting LOL.

Good news is there is 2 bills I over-estimated on... so I actually owed less than I thought. I got most of my bills paid through the end of the year now - that includes car insurance, electricity, heat, gasoline, Hulu/Netflix, and whatever else I can't think of. So when I have those upcoming short checks... I won't have to worry about anything but daycare and rent. At least I know were "safe" for now.

The over-estimating gives me a few hundred dollars to maybe fix this tooth or the vans heat. We'll see. Defrost will be needed soon... but at the same time I am afraid to go to sleep right now - when I lay down the pain gets worse for some reason. I have a dentist apt for Wed morning. I hope they get me out in time for my class (can't miss the first day of class) however I sent an email to my teacher just in case.

Well, I hope everyones day was well

I'll check back in tomorrow.

Good morning, heard it was World Vegetarian Day and I had planned on bacon for breakfast. Oh well! Maybe I'll celebrate it tomorrow.

Yesterday, I walked 12,500 steps. My goal for October is to keep walking. If weather prohibits it, then actually go to the gym. But I love the sunshine. Good old vitamin D.

Today is weigh-in day for me. Will report when I get up. Laying here, playing on Ipad is how I wake up.

I have two late night shifts at work this week. Won't get out til 8 pm and home til 9 pm. Yuk. Then tomorrow have to be up at 5 am.. Repeat thisThursday & Friday.

Have a great month everyone!

Annett- Happy for your 'new found' money!! Maybe that will help your Christmas and most dentists will take installment payments now since so few of us have dental insurance.

Deb- I just got DD a new cell(it was time for an update) and got the basic touch screen. It has a slide out keyboard. You only touch 3 spots. .98 at Sam's. They blocked all the others so she can't accidentally touch one and go on web or anything else.

Good morning. So yesterday I took ds15 to get his second driving permit. He had to take the skills driving test in the car to do that. He was so nervous but he passed. Then we had to go to the DMV for his permit license which expires on his 16th birthday, next August. Then we go back and just get a license. He's very very happy. It took all afternoon. 1:45-4:445. Acccckkk I'm so glad it's over though.

I am here...lol Yesterday was busy. I LOVE Octoboer...my birthday in on Halloween...which some of you probably know since I usually mention it each year...it is a fun birthday...it was my grandfather's birthday also...which the older I get...the weirder that seems to me.

I managed to crack off a piece of tooth...so, off to my favorite place the dentist...he bonded it..long story short it looks okay. Yesterday was the chiropractor...I keep going whether it helps or not...LOL No other options..and it doesn't seem to hurt anything.

I remember working like a nut for years...sometimes when I think back I really don't know how I did most of it...funny the things you can do when you have to.

Deb...your pictures are BEAUTIFUL...of October and the baby's room...gosh it takes you back...to getting the baby's room ready...like it was yesterday...I can see each of them...now they have their own babies...and life goes on.

Thought and prayers go out to those who need a helping hand...keep smiling..even when you don't feel like it...sometimes I look in the mirror and smile when I LEAST feel like it...it actually helps me...probably the fact I look kinda goofy smiling at nothing...LOL

Good day ladies...

Oh crap...I remember those days...one of the kids...the steering wheel locked just before the guy got to the car for the driving test...I nearly pulled it out of the encasement to unloosen it...lol...JUST in the nick of time...fun times..

Deb, beautiful pictures. Your quilt is displayed proudly. I crocheted each of my granddaughters beautiful dresses and never saw them or a picture of them. I finally started making doll dresses and my youngest is now using the oldest ones doll dresses.
