Oc9n2...How are you able to tag so many? Up here it is just one to a customer.

I am glad this week is over. I am working late 2 nights a week. It is an adjustment.

I was told yesterday that I can work from home on Tuesdays now if I want to.

New low 146.2 lbs. I have been eating vegetarian this week for the most part. I stll have some meat in the freezer and want to use it up before I make any kind of committment. It is just an experiment. No philosophical reason. I see myself having a ribeye every so often. That and bacon and chicken are my favorites so I am a meat lover at heart. But I want to see how it affects my BP and cholesterol. Same amount of protein and fats just not from animals. Eggs and greek yogurt are the only animal items I am having. Eggs a couple times a week and greek yogurt every night.

Welcome to all thos returning. I find it helpful to check in a few times a day.

Hi Gang,

Saturdays are so hard for me. Everyone is around and they love to go out to eat. I just want to get past today.

Mary, did you see the Patriots last week ? What a game! Loved it! The only problem with football is the food that comes with it. I try to just stick with chicken wings.

I have seven more months before my daughter 's graduation party and also we are moving out of state again. I have a little pressure to keep losing. My biggest concern is getting healthy and being able to walk with no joint pain. I really look forward to that!!

Mary I really hope and pray that I can walk like you do everyday. I love to exercise. It makes me feel so good and it makes me feel like I can accomplish anything.

Sammi, start out with short walks. I don't do it all at once even now. It is more manageable if broken into 10-15 min at a time.

I did see some of the game last week. What an ending! And now we have the Red Sox this weekend. Here's hoping we get to see them in the world series.

No need to worry about the future, just take the next right action. All we can control is the here and now, what we choose to eat or not. The results will happen based on our daily choices. Have a plan for today. I write down what I plan to eat for today before I eat it and that's what I eat.

Mary- DH has 10 tags he can fill. My nephew, who owns the farm, has 10 tags also. We have a huge overpopulation of deer here. Actually, they don't have to tag them when hunting on own farm where food grown. He grows organic veggies. DH helps him and we freeze and can a lot of them.

Good Morning All,

Well I reached the goal I set for Halloween. I wanted to get down to 239, but today I am 236. Now I want to see if I can reach 232.

Sammi, that's fantastic! You probably feel a whole bunch better too!

Wendi, Walking is good. Moving our bodies. Something I could never do at 376 lbs. I am enjoying every minute.

Our house on the inside is a bit in a frenzy. My son tells me that we will wait to have the windows finished when we have the kitchen and dining area opened up. He has been a big help in getting all this done and I want him to keep taking the lead. We will checkout kitchen stores so we can get an idea of what we want.
As for flooring, what is everyone's experience between some kind of tile vs hardwood. No linoleum, that is not an option.

I haven't decided about flooring. Never carpet. Tile can be hard underfoot. One of my friends has suggested cork flooring.

Scale ain't budging, but my eating seems ok. I should probably starting measuring more and tracking. It's a habit that I have so far failed to establish. I am going to stop weighing daily. In my six months here I have gone from never weighing to weighing every day. What's a good compromise?

sammi - wow girl... WTG

mary - redoing a kitchen... sounds great......

I purchased a new scale (funny thing it is a WW scale) it is a glass body analysis scale - for bone mass . body fat. body water. BMI....

I knew that the scale at my HC was way off....... but was really surprise how much off.......

so today I weighted 280.9 a far cry from being in the 290's... was way happy when I saw that........

good news I had weighed 284.8 on Friday when I got the scale... and today 280.9 so I had a good whoosh....... have been eating really clean.... I think I got my mind-set again.... the past two weeks... was not eating all that clean...but now with this scale... it has made me want to work hard... so it is a good thing....

DH and I ground and bagged 27pounds of deer hamburger today for the freezer. We will be making sausage tomorrow. DH has a special way of processing the meat in which he ices and drains it for three days. No strong or wild taste. We had 7roasts and 4 tenderloins too.

WTG Sammi & Paw!!! Keep it up!!
Mary how exciting having a redo on your kitchen!! Do you ever go on hmmm I don't know if I am suppose to put a site on here?? There r so many cool pictures of all decos!!! I could plan forever!! I love changing things around and fixing things up!!' Too bad it gets so expensive!'
We just put engineered hickory hardwood in our home!! I think I would like tile in the kitchen and bathroom but my DD says she hated hers because the grout discolored!! I would just worry about hardwood getting wet!! I have it by entry door and always worry with snow and rain in Montana!! I would love to have a spice drawer next to my stove and a shelf for my mix master that would pull out and raise up so I wouldn't have to lift it! Lights under the cabinets and a plug in that raises up when u want to use it if you have an island!!! OMG I get carried away thinking what I could do!

my chicken/veggie soup is really simple... chicken broth, water, I use frozen veggies (I like the Thai veggies) - I usually use roasted chicken, but I also like to use turkey meat in it..... and I put in a lot of spices... so again very simple but I like it.....

I think next week I will make the pumpkin sausage soup... I like that one.....
need to look at Linda's recipes for some other soup ideas.....

Bella and Wendy, thanks for the suggestions. I hope to make it the best I can afford. As for the cost of the outside renovation, we were able to do a refi for 15 yrs at 3.5% and our minthly payment is now $100 less than before. It gave us what we needed for the siding, roof, garage doors deck in back and front porch. It will look new on the outside. Then we will work on the inside. I won't refi again, just save save save.

I packed up lunch and dinner salads for the rest of the week and dinner protein. Now just have to do the lunch meals. Has anyone ever had edamame? What can I do with the green beans.

starr - thank you for the ribs and sauerkraut recipe... I am going to try this...

I have always been eating after dinner until bedtime... now I stop eating anything after 7pm (sometimes I eat my dinner around 6pm or so... so my stop eating time at 7am is working).... if I feel hungry I also tell myself that I can NOT be hungry that I had good and filling meals... and I will have a cup of hot tea... or just drink a lot of water.....and it WORKS

I am really proud of myself for doing this..... and I am in a good mind-set again..... and really counting my carbs and working on my exercise....

since I got my new scale - I have been eating only about 17 carbs a day, but I do not feel hungry... and since last Friday I am down 8 pounds... just can not believe it.... I have been losing a bit each day... hope to keep it up, but I know that I will get into a stall later on.... I just tend to do that, after I lost big....

on Friday the 18th I weighed 284.8 and today I weighed 276.2 - loss of 8.6... and I know it is because:
1. I have a lot to lose
2. I have been exercising every day
3. I am eating only about 17 carbs a day
4. I am not eating after 7pm

all factors that are helping me to drop these pounds.....

Good Morning All,

Diana you are doing sooooo good. I am following your program too.

I exercise
I eat only 20 carbs daily
I never eat after my evening meal

IT WORKS FANTASTIC! It does sound easy but everyday is a struggle. I am keeping my eye on the prize. Losing all my extra weight and being able to just move.

I don't eat after supper either. It has been part of my plan for the last 10 years. I tell myself there is another meal coming if I feel tempted.

Dressed up for work today, skirt and all. Woo hoo! Big meeting

Walked 12500 steps too
