Hi all! I am back from vacation and ready to get back on track. I did some "cheating" in which I ate more carbs than I should have, but I had little choice at times. We did a short cruise and I did have some bites of dessert, but I am happy with my numbers.

In these next two months, I will be approaching the time where I weigh about the same as last year. I'm not completely sad about this stall, but I would like to someday have the motivation to move forward toward my goal. Staying right here with this group has helped me at least not gain a bunch. Being happy in my skin and comfortable with my current body is my roadblock

Oh joy, AF is coming this week so I'm a little all over the place, weight wise. I've been overdoing it on legal foods because I always get sooo hungry in the week leading up to it. Gotta love being a girl!

Welcome back to Onderland, Laura!

Terri, I hope you find your motivation if you need it. Personally, I think feeling good in the skin you're in is a great milestone. If I feel healthy and sexy at 200 pounds, I might stay there until I feel a further need to lose more. Trying on clothes is a huge motivator for me. I am just waiting for the day that I can walk into any store and wear almost anything and am not hindered by my weight.

Ugh, moving in the wrong direction. However, this is not a typical week. I am having a visit from AF for the first time in years. My body is actually moving towards normal functioning with this development. I have used BC for years and never have AF during my off week. It's messing with my water retention and appetite right now.

I know where the problem is, I have tweaked my menu a bit. Hidden carbs must be added in my daily count. I really hope this will work.

Yesterday was a high carb day for me. I refuse to call it cheating because I actually ate quite well, just higher carbs. My office had a celebration luncheon and we ordered from my favorite taqueria. I had two carne asada tacos with corn tortillas, refried beans, and some fruit with chili and lime. For dinner, I snacked on macadamia nuts and string cheese. I was up on the scale but not really suprised, my weight has been waffling a lot this week. :P Today I am really watching my carbs. Lamb loin and greek salad so far. For dinner, I think I'll stick to eggs.

It's almost the weekend!!!!

Hey guys, I'm new to this site, and I could really use some motivation. I've tried doing LC before, lost a little, then got it all back PLUS more after I had my son.
I started on Sept 15th, and yesterday the scale said i had lost 7lbs. I weighed this morning and I was up 4lbs...Being me, I automatically freak out and think the diet isnt working blah blah blah....idk if I'm doing something wrong or if it's just water and all that stuff making it say i weigh more. xP

BrittIsLegit that could be all kinds of things..water, TOM but you do not gain 4 pounds of fat overnight. The plan works you just have to keep doing it.
