I would just like to take a minute and talk to the lurkers out there. I know you're there because that's where I used to be. I know it is hard to let people in on the struggles of your life. I've been there. Just know that we take you as you are and do not judge. Please, come on in and tell us who you are. You don't have to give any more than you want. This thread has helped me so much. We understand that it's hard. We are going through some of the same things you are.

I just felt there were some people out there who needed support.

I made my wreath and finished decorating my family room mantle and entertainment center with the leaves. Looks nice, now we need cooler temps.

Hi girls,

As Jan thought, I've been working a bit too much and trying to keep up with the steps, so I'm usually tiiiiiiired. I've walked over 72 miles so far this month.

Hope everyone is doing great!

Morning. It's hump day and I heard on the news it's National cheeseburger day.

I didn't sleep well at all. Tossed and turned all night long. I have a dr appt at 9 for my 9 month check in. Then home to start the taping and stuff in the guest bath plus make the gyro's meat for tonight.

I'm back from the dr and so is ds18. He got the letter he needed to submit for his scholarship thing. I got a great report, bp was 112/72 and my last blood work showed my A1C as 5.1 which is awesome. 100 lbs ago, it was over 7 meaning heading to diabetes. Woohoo!!! She was very pleased with my progress.

Good going, Chewie! And everyone else out there.

As I was losing back in 2001-2006 and then again in 2011-13 after regaining 75 and relosing it, it was always the big picture. Take whatever action I could take today but not dwell on things out of my control. I can control my actions but not the results such as the number on the scale. In only weighed once a month for the first year because I had to make a special trip to my husband's office to use the scale in the shipping dept. lesson learned focus on today and not the scale.

I set a walking goal this month because I had been coasting along for the last three months getting 8,000 to 8600 steps on average a day. I wanted to see if I focused, could I do it. So far so good. Today, I walked 12,500+ steps. I think tomorrow or the next day I will have walked over 1 million steps since June 1st. Hard to believe!

Oh Deb, how precious!! Amazing!!
I was back to my lowest weight this morning. I guess fluid took over for a couple days!
Went to play BINGO and won a chicken sandwich and a kid's meal. DH won a kid's meal. He'll eat them but we will only pay for my eggs/cheese and bacon. We get two senior coffees and it's less than $4 total. Went to Sam's and got Fox a Baby Einstine table. $34.98. Oh well, we got him a rocky horse zebra that makes music and horse neighs at Goodwill for $3.17 a few weeks ago. Trying to get started on Christmas.
Chewie, I didn't get my fall stuff out again today! I need to REALLY clean my front porch before I start.
Eliza- Glad to hear from you!! Don't be a stranger.

Our gyros were delicious. Dh said they were the best ever. LOL I was so achey and sore yesterday. I don't know that I'll even be able to use the weight when we do the class tonight. I might just use my arms today. I sure don't want to get more sore.

Geez, when you're not working, it's hard to know what day it is. Weird!

WTG on working out and YEAH with Steven not here for school this year and Ken not able to go to work and having to stay home to conserve money i loose track of the days the date even the hours no reason to get up by a certain time or go to bed at a certain time just all a blur but with your sons in school and your DH working doesn't that keep you on track?

Phew, got my work out in already. I scrubbed the guest bathroom walls, toilet, pedestal base, wood molding and floor. The stupid cleaner got up my nose and in my throat. Feels weird. I have the vent on and it's drying right now. I plan to tape when it is dry and start painting later.
