Thank you, Sue. His hair was Black when he was younger. His younger brother and all their kids have the beautiful skin and black hair.
We are really proud of Shana. She is happy and that makes me happy.

I washed clothes today. DH and I made a Lemon Bar recipe that he's been wanting to try. He said they are great. It was easy, easy and I'm not tempted by lemon so it was fine. I downloaded the Kindle for PC and I have the icon but nothing comes up when I press it. Leave it to me. I started to eat the Seven Layer Salad and remembered I didn't put the bacon in.!! Cooked it and sprinkled on top. Still good!
Watching Sprint Cup race at Daytona. We are a Nascar family.(I'm on computer.)

Tired from yesterday. We froze about 100 ears of corn on the cob from my nephew's organic farm. Also, two bags of green beans. Have tomatoes turning and onions hanging. Also washed about 20 cukes and will be getting some more in a couple days. We'll make pickles. Whew!

Good Morning Glories!!
Well, up 1/2 lb. today. Total= 1 1/2 lbs. in last two days with nothing off plan! I know, I know; probably water, etc...My mind knows that , but it's hard to explain to my heart. When you never cheat, period, it's hard to take. OK, enough about that. We were lazy and didn't go to church today. Forecast is for MORE rain again today. So tired of these gully washers every day! Water standing in the front yard. I shouldn't complain when so many people's homes have been flooded. We are not in danger of that.

Morning folks. Sorry I've been so quiet lately. Not feeling so good again. Stupid backed up system of mine. I can't seem to get it balanced out and I hate Metamucil. Tried fiber caps but you have to take a million. Ugh. I guess it's back to the Metamucil but it might kill me. lol

Stay well.

Thanks Jan! That will save me a step. Don't worry about the water weight. It will come off and what a nice surprise for you when it does! I know the feeling. Your mind says it's ok...it's only water but your heart says....darn!! I've been so good!!!! LOL

Chewie....I sure hope you get this all worked out soon. Ok...wait, that didn't come out right. Wait again.....that didn't either!!!! Get your system working right soon and get to feeling better !!!!!!

We had a great breakfast and went and got our corn along with some other veggies and fruit. It was a nice morning to get up early and get out of town for a little while!
B-2 eggs, 3 bacons, 1 sausage pattie
L-green salad with fresh picked onions and other goodies with turkey
S-Iced coffee
D-LC thin pizza from Linda Sue's recipe
S-maybe some pork rinds with cinnamon and a very little Splenda. I haven't had that in years!!! Oh yes...it has melted butter over it.

do an alll fat day and see if that doesn't get you jumpstarted back
example a WHOLE roasted chicken any way you like seasoned(not the rotisserie ones they have stuff added to them not good for LC) and eat on it all day long skin and all the fattier the better
or a bunch of chicken thighs even usually get me a 2 pound down and helps me get back in the groove
or eggs all day friedn boiled whatever LOL
and keep up with that water
maybe put a spoonful of ACV in a tall glass of iced water and a little stevia i love it and helps things along
and YES on this RAIN oh gosh! i have a lake in my yard! and i know come august we will need this rain sigh if it could have been spaced out some and the heat 87 supposed to be today good grief! you would think the rain would have cooled it off i swear everything will be growing green algae soon! JUNGLE conditions and we will need a bush hog to do the yard if it ever dries up enough to do it

Deb- Is that a Fat Fast that I've heard about? Fry eggs in butter? Fry chicken in oil? Is there a place to look it up?

Deb....maybe instead of holding this all in, you should take a day to cook off a bit and then talk to your son. Just ask why they didn't stop. Ask him to be honest if there is something you are doing to upset them or if there is a reason they do not want to be around you. If there is you need to know so you can correct it.
If he says there isn't I would let him know how hurtful it is and with his dad being in such a bad way it is sad he can't at least stop by for an hour or so.
Make him be honest and give you an answer. I find it sad because I am sure Ken could use his help around there doing a few things. Hugs to you! P.S.

Morning Glories! I didn't weigh this morning. First since beginning WOE except when on vacation. Going to try to give myself a few days to get rid of my 1 1/2 lb. gain from out of nowhere.

Chewie- I'd be in trouble without my muffins.

Monday morning everyone. Notice I didn't say "good" Monday.
I am a little ticked. I have been so good with my eating and
yet I step on the scale just knowing I will have a 2lb. loss. Nope....
it showed a pound gain. I do know I am holding water like a sponge.
I can tell in my ring and my feet. Darn it all. Makes me want to eat!! LOL
I am going to make some of those Whoopie type rolls for sandwiches today
I think. My recipe is call Make Believe Bread but it is more or less the same.
Have a good day everyone.
Jan, I guess I am joining you in the "gain from nowhere"!!
