Good morning! Another bright, sunshine-filled day and the temps are awesome -- high of 83° today. I love being able to keep my A/C off.

I woke up so hungry this morning so I decided to get an omelet from the cafeteria at work -- it was very good. I have meetings throughout the day so my early breakfast will actually be brunch.

I'm having Andy, Melissa & Hailey over for dinner tonight. Jessie invited her boyfriend to join us as well. Making chicken and steak fajitas. I'll have mine over a bed of lettuce with sour cream & salsa.

Not much else going on -- I hope everyone has a great day!

Kim, it's cooler here too, only going to be mid 80s. I love it and wish it would just stay this way but it won't.

We are having beautiful weather also. My husband brought in a few tame blackberries this morning and they were 1 1/2 inch long.

Deb - keep the faith that Ken will improve. I know the future is filled with uncertainty right now, but hopefully once you get his MRI results the doctors will come up with a treatment plan. You and your family are in my daily prayers.

Sue -- I won't have any handsome Spanish men serranading us -- but I'll have a 1 year-old babbling -- that's even better!

Chewie -- I hope you enjoyed your drive -- sometimes I love the peacefulness that a long drive alone gives me. What a great cause too!

Lucky-- I LOVE blackberries -- when my sister and I were in Oregon last summer visiting my dad we bought HUGE ones -- they were almost 2" long.

Hi to everyone else -- I'm heading out the door from work. People have already started dropping out of meetings, etc. in anticipation of the holiday tomorrow.

I have a huge crop of rhubarb in my backyard and just found a recipe for Rhubarb Streusel Bread to bring to the cabin tomorrow for morning coffee-time. Thankfully it's not too warm today so I won't mind starting up my oven. I'll probably wait to bake it after everyone leaves tonight so not to heat up the house at all.

MRI results UGH where is that annoyed smilie??? nothing wrong with Ken OMG!
i have reviewed the MRI results while Dr. pullen was out of the clinic
MRI of brain showed no major abnormalities. There is some thickening of the linings in part of the right side sinuses.
if you are having persistent sinus problems, especially infectious drainage, let Dr pullen know. otherwise no specific treatment is necessary.

soo will this kill ken's chances for SSDI?? and what the goobly gook can be goin g on for his to be soo debilitated and in soo much pain 24/7??? i am beyond frustrated

Oh, Deb. I just can't believe it!!?? It shouldn't hurt his case. Especially if you have other documentation from other doctors.
