We had a tornado come through Friday night. We are all safe and have no damage to speak of, but I still did some stress/convenience eating because of it. Driving/walking through the neighborhood makes me feel VERY blessed. There are trees down everywhere (we only lost a few small branches), siding and roofing shingles everywhere, mailboxes down, trees down across 2 different cars, and lots of neighbors still without power.

Lots of eating out this weekend but I did not overdo it. I wanted to eat a lot and a lot of bad stuff but I chose not to. I always feel empowered when I make good decisions. This feeling is better than any junk food I could have eaten.

Kali- I am glad you and your family are OK. I get stressed when I hear the tornado sirens go off in my neighborhood and have to grab stuff and run to a bathroom. I used to live on the east coast and have been in hurricanes before. At least you have a chance to get outta town with a hurricane. Hopefully the stress is over and you can get back on plan.

LovelyBelle- You can do anything you want on this thread, daily, weekly,,,whatever works best for you.

Reptogirl- You are doing great. Yup, I was 325+ last July. So you see it can be done, stick to your plan and ride out the stalls and be patient. I did not do much exercise either, it has been all though controlling what I eat.

Terri- Well done getting those extra pounds off!

Hey old friends, long time no see. TerriB Kali88, mcchimento How ya'll doing? Behaving yourselves LOL. Anyhoo I went away for a moment. Remember Sandy...try finding low carb foods when you are trying to survive no electricity,flooding, etc LOL. Anyhoo, it was around winter and that is never good for me. But here I am again back on the underland bus :).

To recap, I went down from 241 got all the way to 208. Went back up after a time. It took a bit but a month ago hit the scale went up to 238 now I am 228 today. So once more into the breach my friends once more...:)

I fully understand about stress eating during bad weather times. I survived Hurricane Katrina years ago though we lost everything and just last year we had Issac come through. We lost everything in the freezer and refrigerator, no power for a week. I remember the first hot meal we ate was so good even though it was fried chicken tenders.
