Wow!! I am so impressed! What a beautiful and cheery page. Makes me smile to look at it....and all the research for the days, too. You are a wonder.

Things will get better. I know it's hard to believe when we're in the dumps but things will look up. I will say a special prayer tonight for you and your family.

Top of the morning to ya!! I just love coming to this page and seeing the glitter!!

Scale was down this morning enough to cover yesterday's little rise and some for today! It had to be that I forgot my meds.
I had B- 2egg omelet and a sausage patty.
Thinking a pouch of tuna on a lettuce bed with a T. mayo and a boiled egg w/1 T mayo for lunch. A muffin for snack w/ 1 T. cream cheese on it. Don't know about dinner yet, something chicken I have out to thaw.

deb- said a long prayer for you, Kenny and Steven last night. Maybe the Hardees thing will work out.

Pouch tuna- I have eaten so much tuna years ago while yoyo dieting that I can't face a can and draining. The pouch costs more but has no juice and I can just squeeze it onto my lettuce.

Good Saturday morning everyone,
we had such horrible weather over west of us around and in OKC last night.
I just heard the count is up to 9 for those killed. Lots of flooding going on also.
It could have been worse if that tornado would have headed on down interstate 40
where there were miles of cars stuck in traffic. Of course for those hurt and who lost
loved ones nothing could be worse.
Deb...when I was managing and I would have people talk to me about a job even if I
wasn't hiring I paid attention when they sold their selves to me. Steven needs to hand that app to them, look them in the eye and start telling them he is NOT the run of the mill teen. I won't call in to go to a party. I will be here and I will be here on time and I am a hard worker! I really need and want this job and if you will give me a chance I will prove it to you. Things like that will catch a managers attention. Anyway it did me.
Don't let him give up and don't you either.
I am going to look through my LC recipes and see what I want to fix for the coming week. I have a busy week coming up so it needs to be quick and easy!
B-2 egg omelet with cheese, ham, bacon and half an orange.
L- salad with egg, bacon, cheese and lots of veggies.
S-?? Depends on my mood and hunger
D-Nancyelle's thin and crispy pizza (on Linda Sue's board)
S-LC malt maybe...

Back in the early 70's I lost 50lbs. on WW's. For 6 months I ate tuna with mustard on thin toast for my lunch!!!! You would think I would hate tuna but I still like it!! Glad the scale was back down for you today!!

Deb..here is another thing he might do that always caught my attention. Every so often I would have someone who needed/wanted a job so bad that they would call me back and remind me that they had talked with me a couple of weeks ago and they just wanted to check to see if anything had opened up. I had 1 lady who did this for months!!! She would call monthly. She always had a little something to say such as....don't forget I'll do a good job for ya! It jogged my memory when I had something finally come open in her area where she lived.

I think I will give these a try. Looks yummy!

Cheesy Cauliflower Pancakes

1 head cauliflower
2 large eggs
1/2 c cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 c panko
1/2 t cayenne pepper (more of less to taste)
salt
olive oil

Cut cauliflower into florets & cook in boiling water until tender about 10 minutes. Drain. Mash the cauliflower while still warm. Stir cheese, eggs, panko, cayenne & salt to taste.

Coat the bottom of a griddle or skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat. Form the cauliflower mixture into patties about 3 inches across. Cook until golden brown & set, about 3 minutes per side. Keep each batch warm in the oven while you cook the rest.

Makes 8 pancakes

Sue- Glad you're OK! Can't believe all the bad weather out there.

deb- If it's Christmas decorations I love them! No matter what they are. I am a retired school teacher and I still have 'tacky' (in other people's eyes) decorations I made with children and those made for me by them. I take everything , such as pictures, knickknacks of any kind, mantle decor and even some lamps and box them up. They are replaced with Christmas things from Nov. 1st. Some might call my house tacky but I think it's beautiful! Love, love, love Christmas. PS- I do put a cornicopia on dining room table for Thanksgiving and take it off the next day.
