So I didn't start the running program but I did do 20 laps in the pool. It just about killed me. I was so tired. It took about 35 minutes. My pool is 44 feet long so 44 x 20 is how far I swam. Phew.

I'm sure he felt bad. 35th anniversary is a very important number.

I'm glad ou could upgrade his rating for PTSD. It won't solve all his problems but is a step in the right direction. Hope things start rolling now and getting better and better.

w e haven't started it yet Ken is overwhelmed right now
his VA rep just thinks he might qualify it is a lot more paperwork and exams and trips to johnson city even if it would be up ped after all of that
we are concentrating on trying to get the SSDI paperwork taken care of for now and we will try for getting his PTSD rating up a bit if we can get something else to calm down
he is having a really bad day today hard time breathing and such pain
IF he could get his rating up then he could file for unempolyability with the VA IF he then got that they would let Steven use Ken's GI bill which would pay Steven's tuition and i think room and board at college OH man wouyld that be a RELIEF! but those are big big IFs and with the current situations probably not going to happen i can't even seem to dream about it

I live all of 1/4-1/2 mile from my work. My stupid car started bucking on the way here. WTH???? It was fine on vacation, 5 hours away, but 2 minutes away and it's not. GRRRRR
Plus the pool guy never called my dh back so now he called another place. Stupid people!

I am feeling so down this week. Wondering if I need to change antidepressants again.

Yes it is. Do you ever make it in another flavor and fruit? I was wondering about peach jello. Does it even come in diet???? Fresh preaches I thought would make a yummy one maybe.
Hope you get to feeling better. It is awful having the blues and not even knowing why. Maybe you need to turn on some music and start dancing!! Just think of the wonderful life you have ahead now that you are losing all this weight! I envy you for sure!!!

B-Atkins drink, boiled egg
L-can of Vienna sausages plus 1/2 sandwich
S-not for sure yet
D-LC taco salad
S-not for sure

I am busy busy busy with kids this week it seems!!! Catch ya later.

I'm baaaacccckkkk. So tired but we had a great trip and a nice anniversary. I did not stray at all from Induction and still was a lb. and 1/2 up when I got home. Oh well, I would have been 5-8 lbs. up in my before Atkins life. I think I just ate a lot of what I could eat plus restaurants use salt so some fluid gain too. Ankles, feet and hands stayed swollen whole trip.
It's good to be home. Good to be back with all y'all!

Hi peeps. TGIF This has been one heck of a long week for me. Seems it's just dragging along.

Dh did something to my car and although it needs a new sensor, he said I should be fine driving it for my errands and stuff. Sure hope so. I'd hate to get stuck somewhere when it's in the 90s.

I don't mean to bore you with my menu. It just helps seeing it wrote down for me.

B-Atkins drink
S-boiled egg, coffee
L-Chicken salad (grapes, celery and pecans) on a bed of lettuce.
S-hopefully I won't need one. Maybe a couple of dill pickles
D-Hamburger steak, (grilled) grilled veggies
S-LC malt

One thing I am sure you have never been called..and that's boring..LOL Of course you should post your menues...this a low carb website afterall...

and by the way...your chicken salad sounds EXCELLENT!

I put grapes in with feta a lot...I love grapes in things..

I would love to be able to eat pickles..but, they make me swell up like a balloon...I LOVE bread and butter pickles. When I was a kid I LOVED those little sweet gerkins with tuna salad sandwiches....

I hear ya on the pickles. I have been retaining water this past 2 weeks. It is just so stinking hot and humid here most of the time lately and I can tell in my shoes that
I am retaining water. Oh...and also on the scales. I have been faithful on this for
2.5 weeks now and I am only showing a 6 lb. loss. I am just staying off the scales
for the most part and checking once a week on my progress.
