!/2 lb. down today. Yay. 20lbs now total since May 27th. My goal was 1 to 2 lbs a week so I'm making it so far. It's a lot slower since induction.

Hello ladies! Still haven't got my test results back which has me on edge. Last Saturday we went to my sister in laws house, about four hours away for a graduation party. I did really well until I realized dinner was spinich and cheese lasagna. I just hadn't thought to plan ahead for this. So I ate one serving of lasagna and two tiny pieces of garlic bread and have been paying for it ever since. First of all, about 45 after the meal until the afternoon of the next day, I felt sooooo bloated. I was actually in pain. I shot up 3.4 pounds and have worked all week to get that off. I don't want to feel like that again! I have been on plan all week, lots of exercising and swimming so hopefully next week will be a good one. I would like to get in the 20s for my birthday which is Aug 1st. But, I won't beat myself up about it.
Jan: Way to go on the 20 pounds down!! That is awesome.
Oksue: I love the emoticons and pictures you put in your posts. And I am proud of you for getting back on that eliptical. Burn baby burn!
Michele: One day at a time and you will get there and soon the 70s will even be a distant memory.
Amber: When is your birthday? Sounds like it is close to mine
Darci: You have good numbers, keep up the good work!

My goal was to be in the teens, I may not make that, but i WILL be in the low 20s. I think we should make our next goal a spooky Halloween goal, which is a little over eight weeks, then a Christmas or New Year's goal for another eight or nine weeks. I think it is easier looking at it in smaller time frames than dwelling on how long it will take to get this all off. What do you guys think?
Oh and if you like blue cheese, try the pork chop with blue cheese "gravy" in the receipe room. It was delicious.

So, when I went to the baseball game I signed up for a drawing and won! I get 4 tickets to the game and an autographed baseball! Whoot!

Also, I had some sugar free ice cream last night. It was really tasty but the sugar alcohols made me a bit....gassy. It was good though A treat for sure and NOT something to be added to my regular diet. Hope it doesn't mess up the weight loss though.

Darci....let's just say I learned my lesson once when I ate one to many diet candy bars. OMG...I was in an awful state.

How is everyone today? I am down 22lbs my first two months of LC eating. Not great but it's so much harder to lose the older you get. Down 1/2 lb today to end my total.

Jann: Yay on the 22 lbs gone!

I was just looking back at what my goal was for this challenge...I forgot...lol
As of today I am 5 lbs away from my goal of 25lbs gone for this challenge...Hard to believe we only have a little over a month left to accomplish our goals for this challenge....unfortunately that means we are that much closer to winter YUCK!!

Hi ladies!!

I didn't lose anything this week. Well, ok I weighed 3 times this morning and was even, lost .6 and then .2 so I went with even.

Jan~awesome job with 22 lbs in 2 months!!! I am down 17 in 8 weeks. Not spectacular I guess but I'll take it.

Michele~only 5 lbs left for the challenge? That is great!!

Sue~How are you doing on this monday? How was the weekend?

There are only 5 weeks left for the challenge!! I have 8 to go. It's going to be difficult. The super challenge just isn't going to happen. I'm not going to make 13. But that was a super challenge so I'm just going to not let that get me down.

Oh...just wanted to say this challenge is really helping me stay focused. I am so glad I found you all here.
OMG...now I am thinking.... what will be the next challenge? A Halloween Challenge?

I think Halloween would be a good next goal. It's 8 weeks after Labor day I like that it breaks it up into more managable chunks.

Hello Ladies! I did get my results back, but they were inconclusive. I do not have cervical cancer, so that is good, but they still got some abnormal cells from a scraping. So, I have to have another surgery to determine if I have uterine cancer or not. And in either case, my best option may be a complete hysterectomy which has a recovery time of four to six weeks which really sucks. So, not out of the woods yet and weeks to stew over this until I get my next surgery and results.

On the weight loss side, I feel stalled. I last ate off plan nine days ago, but have only managed to lose 1.6 of the 3.2 I went up immediately following the lasagna. I am still swimming, but I have to change my morning workouts as I can't work out before work anymore. It is really frustrating to be in such a stall maybe it is the stress of the health issues. I will be doing my measurements on Wednesday and I know that at least there I will see some smaller numbers. I guess it isn't always what is on the scale. I really shouldn't wear my size 18 jeans anymore as I am constantly pulling them up, I guess I could get a belt. My 16s are pretty comfortable. I bought a pair of 14 capris at the beginning of June, hoping that I would be in them before Labor Day, so we will see.

So proud of the successes that everyone has been reporting!

Michele: Great job! You should make your labor day goal
Oksue: You too are on a roll. . . a downward one!
Darci: Go for the 8 lbs and if more happens to disappear, YAY!

Hugs and prayers. I know you are worried. Just try and not worry to much. Worrying will only make you feel worse and upset your body perhaps in the losing department. I know it is easier said than done when it comes to worrying. Life can throw some hard balls at us when we least expect it.
Keep the faith and turn it over to a higher power. Let it rest on His shoulders.
I think that is great that your 8's are to big and the 16 are fitting!!
Now be looking forward to those 14 capris!!!!!

I haven't lost any more but I'm OK. Not a fanatic like last time doing this. I know this is a life long deal now and I don't eat off program. Just more than I should sometimes and that's OK, too. I will gradually go down.

I took my measurement when I first started this and let me just say that it was mortifying!!!
WTG Jan on fitting into clothes better!! That is great news!!
If we only knew the reasons we go off plan and have a carb feast we could bottle it up and be rich!!!!

Today is my birthday and I've been good so far! Planning on eating on plan, but having a couple glasses of wine. I asked my husband for a beginner class in cross fit for my birthday. I think I am nuts, but hoping this shreds some weight off! It will be Monday-Thursday for one hour for two weeks, but an intense hour I hope August is a good month for me.

I am down 2.5 this week for a total of 19.5 AND I'm in a new decade, ONDERLAND is "only" 10 lbs away! 5.5 lbs until I reach the labor day challenge! Needless to say this morning was a good one!

Sue~people will notice and one plus if you have to lose more before people notice is that you have all that time to get comfortable with the eating plan and be "set" in it. Plus, you are still doing really well!

Darla~your inches lost are awesome! Must be all that exercise!

Jan~have I mentioned how proud I am that you have reached TWOTERVILLE? You've got this! Congrats on another 1/2 lb!

Good Monday morning....
Well mark me down for 2 pounds for this past week. I'll take it! I put on a size 3x pull on pants yesterday that I couldn't even get up over my belly a couple of months ago. Now they fit good!! 2x here I come!!
Darci....WOW!!! Just 10 lbs. away from ONERDAND!!!!!! 2.5 for the week is great also!!!!
Jan.....you just keep moving on down!!!! I'm with you. I'm guessing we are close in size and it will take about 50 for me to lose and have others notice. That's ok. I know and my clothes also knows it.
