found this the doc may have siad HEMIPLEGIC instead of HEMMORAGIC and i misunderstood
Quote:
Hemiplegic migraine is a rare type of headache. It's also one of the most serious and potentially debilitating migraine headaches.

What Is a Hemiplegic Migraine Headache?

There are several types of migraine. One major group is called migraine with aura. Hemiplegic migraine is a severe subtype of this group.

Migraine is a complex neurological disorder. It generally includes headaches, but not always. Before the actual headache pain of a migraine, you can have a host of other symptoms that serve as warning signs that a migraine is coming. These early symptoms, called auras, include temporary disturbances in one or more functions:

Vision
Muscle control and body sensations
Speech and language
Hearing
For most migraine sufferers who have aura, the visual disturbances are the most common symptom. But for people with hemiplegic migraine, muscle weakness and paralysis can be so pronounced and extreme that they cause a temporary, stroke-like paralysis on one side of the body. This paralysis on one side of the body is called hemiplegia.

What Are the Symptoms of Hemiplegic Migraine Headaches?

Hemiplegic migraine symptoms often start in childhood. Then for some people, they disappear in adulthood. The stroke-like symptoms can range from worrisome to debilitating. Migraines are unpredictable and unique to each person. You may have a hemiplegic migraine headache with extreme pain and minor paralysis one month. Then, the next attack might bring extreme paralysis without much headache pain at all.

Symptoms of hemiplegic migraine include:

Severe, throbbing pain, often on one side of your head
A pins-and-needles feeling, often moving from your hand up your arm
Numbness on one side of your body, which can include your arm, leg, and/or one side of your face
Weakness or paralysis on one side of your body
Loss of balance and coordination
Visual aura, such as seeing zigzag lines, double vision, or blind spots
Language difficulties, such as mixing words or trouble remembering a word
Slurred speech
Dizziness or vertigo
Nausea and vomiting
Extreme sensitivity to light, sound, and smell
Confusion
Decreased consciousness or coma
With hemiplegic migraine, the aura can be more severe and last longer than with other types of migraine with aura. Symptoms usually last from five minutes to one hour. It's rare, but some people gradually develop long-lasting difficulty with movement and coordination.

What Causes Hemiplegic Migraine Headaches?

Researchers have now identified three genes linked with hemiplegic migraine.

The three genes linked with hemiplegic migraine are the CACNA1A, ATP1A2, and SCN1A genes. Defects, or mutations, in any of these three genes lead to a breakdown in the body's ability to make a certain protein. That protein is needed for clear communication among nerve cells. Without that protein, nerve cells have trouble releasing or taking up neurotransmitters -- the chemical messengers between nerve cells.

Most people with hemiplegic migraine have inherited the gene mutation from one parent who also had the condition.
and yes since April 21 he has had all of these from mild to severe

well he was upset ESPECAILLY when they were gettign the loan for the house and she would have had totally company paid insurance but he ain't doing anything about it ya know?
he did tell me he thought they got married too early maybe if they had waited until after college things would have been different and i KEPT MY MOUTH SHUT FIOR ONCE wasn't i a good girl?
i always wanted for him a relationship like Ken and I have always putting each other first and making decisions together and i really do not think my baby boy has that
i found out the reason they were late to steven's graduation is she couldn't find the right shoes for her outfit and that ran ALL over me but again i kept my mouth shut but i was needing help with ken and heck everyone was wearing flip flops or sandals ya know?? and NO ONE could see her shoes in that mess anyways she made him run by the storage unit 10 miles in the opther direction and he put up with it so IDK i would never have done it.. i have noticed through the years though that her mom and ashley and her sisters do loads of things and "don't let daddy know" and i believe it will be a lot that way for Kenny the only things i ever kept from Ken were presents
good bad moneywise or otherwise we made decisions together KWIM?
EXCEPT for his bright idea of pushmowing yesterday and i put a stop to that real quick
i just checked myheathevet and i believe it said that ken's next MRI is scheduled for June 28th!! whoohoo!!!! that is months earlier than i was thinking i know it is still 6 weeks away but in VA terms that is pretty quick

Yes...you were a good girl...I learned to keep my shut too...for the most part...except for once..yes...I am sure everyone was looking at her shoes..lol...she sounds annoying..but, she is his wife...so, you do the best you can accepting it...the don't let Daddy know thing is not good...sounds like her mother instilled some not very good things in her child's head...good on the appointment, Deb...yes..mowing with a cane?...you should have gotten a picture of that one...can't keep a good man down..

P.S. don't mess with my kids...I don't care who you are...

He is young to be married...all my kids were older...why did they get married anyway...

It will work out the way it is supposed to, Deb...thinking or worrying about it won't change it...it will be what it will be...for some reason...maybe that baby needed to be born soon...time will tell.

Hi. I'm new here. Did Atkins 9 years ago with great success. Lost 110 lbs. and went from size 26 to 12. Health caused me to stop and I'm back heavier than when I started the first time. This time, my weight is my worst health problem and need to lose it. Would appreciate any ideas, encouragement and recipes that have helped you. Also, I used to make flax meal muffins that I loved and have lost the recipe. If any one happens to have it, please post. Thank you and good luck to everyone.

Thank y'all so much. I'm going to try these. I am starting Induction Monday. Going tomorrow to get a few things I don't have. I'm excited. I've just got to keep myself from being obsessed with every bite I eat. I can look back and see that I was probably such a bore to be around. Oh well, that's what I have you guys for, right? The muffin recipe was a bake in the oven style but these look good too.
