Back and so need to get it right.......
Well I am 41 and 240lb  I was here a long time ago and fell off the wagon big time....went to the dr. and was put on meds and you know what...they worked...went from 250 to 215 in 1 year....but then he stopped the meds and said I had to learn how to do this on my own and man...that was it....I have been up and down for about 1 year now and so angry cause I am back to 240:dunno:

I am very healthy, except for my weight!!!!!! and the fact that my weight makes me miserable!!!!! You would think I would learn....

Well after doing some serious soul searching and thinking...I have come to the conclusion...this is the only way of life for me and I need to get back on track and do it for good this time......

My goal is to be at least 215 by June.......wish me luck

Fairchild, I totally understand your pain. This is a great place to come for support. I know that I have done the work in terms of my weight loss, but I attribute a lot of my success to LCF. Good luck on your journey.

Fairchild, you might want to join the Memorial Day challenge.
I think there are two floating about . . . .
The one I am in, I think it's in the Century Club forum, let's everyone set their own individual goals.
You will feel so much better as soon as you jump back in.

Welcome back Fairchild. We can do it together. There is power in this support.

Well, since Thanskgiving I've regain 30 of the 60 lbs that I lost. I know that climbing the stairs is more difficult. I have 2 wedding coming up this summer, and need to get a new picture to renew my drivers license this year--and I don't want to be this fat. So like you I've started to be strict in my eating.

That being said--we are going to a friend's house tonight. So I'm saving my calories for then, hope she has something I can easily eat without drawing attention to myself. Everyone else's life does not center around my eating choices.

keep posting here, many of the people give great support.

Perhaps a good idea to eat something on your accepted list before your go to your friend's house and go fully hydrated. That can help me avoid temptation.
Good luck!
