Kenny was a dough head and went to ITT tech for his first terms(against my wishes) so none of this applied and by the time he went to regular college he was married and never went to the dorms or anything like that PLUS we really thought full scholarship meant full scholarship UGH
plus kenny was working full time at a GOOD job then(2008) and was able to pay and we didn't have 20K in medical bills
f steven could get that job at the water park or hecfk any job my miond would be eased

OMG...i AM SO SERIOUS!!!

So I have told hubs a million zillion times.. not to leave anything in the car.. but he leaves his school stuff.. you know like, the kid's grades..attendance sheets etc etc.. long story short... it's all gone this morning.. someone stole it from his van.. I cannot believe it...I mean yes it could have been worse no doubt.. but now try and explain this to the teaching boss.. who is already a mean and nasty and rude S O B....so I think my son and I are going to have to help him recreate some of the things....he had already worked hard on...and now to ask the office for 11 weeks of copies of attendance records...I just don't get it....we looked everywhere...in every nook and cranny and his other jobs too... can you believe this??? and seriously.. the thought of food makes me want to throw it up.....but it still kills me because for 10 years I have told him.. don't leave it in the car... OMG the thought of that boss lady finding out.. who knows what her course of action could be...

Deb.. I found out if my son picks a certain college, he is going to need 400 bucks.. non refundable and cant be applied to anything.. it's just to hold his spot... I cannot wait till my son lives on his own and then he will have to work for his own lunch money.. since he thinks it's so easy...

Boy I am just PO'd right now..

Melinda I am so sorry about the paperwork. I'm willing to bet they were looking for personal information. in your area identity theft is a huge problem. you can sell any information to an illegal alien immediately. what a sad sad day.

GBRRRRRR----hate, hate, hate walmart. Dh said they had pool stuff in the front already and we need algaecide. It's just something you're supposed to do in March--add it in 4 spots and it makes the pool opening so much easier and quicker. Nope---they had floats and stuff but not chemicals. Stupid place.

I did get a bunch of beef that was marked down. With the prices on beef the way they are, that's pretty much the only way I've been buying it lately. Even marked down prices are expensive but definitely more affordable. I put it all in the freezer except a 5 lb pack of ground chuck I got for $9.81. I'm going to divide it up in a few packs and then freeze it. Now I still have to get to the pool store later this week and it's a haul.

So, they advertised that they had this algaecide stuff and then they didn't actually have it?That's not right. What a pain to go there for something they said they had and find that they didn't. course, that holds true for Wallyworld or any other store......

Were the papers in an attache/briefcase/backpack? If so they might have thought there would be computer and other things in there. What a pain! I am so sorry to hear that.

Was his scholarship for tuition only or tuition and board/books? Did you contact the school to find out if he has to pay, maybe they don't have the info on him yet to know if he has full scholarship? Although a lot of scholarships don't pay for fees/deposits.....there are a lot of incidental expenses that do add up. Course it is better to pay just those than those plus room/board/tuition! I speak from experience!!!! Also, sometimes the deposit goes towards the total due and is not really an extra expense.

Melinda, I am so sorry to hear about your hub's loss of papers. Makes you feel violated doesn't it?

Chewie, I order all of my hot tub supplies on line, because I don't want to go to the pool store.
