Lynn, such a tragedy. I am so sorry to hear about the man you know of. I pray that they will be able to save his leg.

Good morning snowflakes. Another 8 inches predicted by tomorrow morning.

Holy crapola Chewie, you have a TON of clothes. I bet all of mine would almost fill a 55 gallon trash bag. You seem to get rid of one every week.

Good morning to everyone, I need to go back and get caught up.

Oldest got up waaaaay before she usually does and got into the shower ahead of her dad and brother, so I had no hope of a shower. Then, a friend needs me to fill in for her at a volunteer job this afternoon. Youngest wants me to take her shopping after school to get a gift for her sister. I guess I am just having one of those go with the flow days cuz from early on my plans have been shot.

Today oldest turns 22. I had to run her out to a friend of youngests last night to borrow a tutu. She wants to wear a tutu today since she turns "two-two".
I remember those days, kc...here there and everywhere..but, it is time with your children well spent...enjoy the moments...sometimes I miss my daughter so much I don't know what to do with myself...so, enjoy.

(of course, I miss my sons too..

That's probably a good idea but I don't know if it's really worth it. My stuff is not designer stuff. It's mostly thrift store stuff.

Yes, Lony, I do have TONS of clothes. I have a huge walk-in closet still pretty full even after I did a huge purge a few months ago. Plus I have a giant dresser and a seperate lingerie chest plus 2 big drawers under my king size bed. Dh promised to install a closet organizer when I did that big purge but he hasn't had time. Plus I haven't even looked for one that I like yet.

Yoga is a good idea. Trust me, granted I was way bigger than you but you are going to want to start some sort of exercise. Even with my exercise I am all sorts of baggie and saggy!

I've been up since 6. Had 2 cups of coffee and an 11 oz protein shake. I don't count the coffee cause it's got caffeine but I could add the 11 oz and then I'm actually up to 59!!!! LOL

I guess I should get around and do something. I need a few things at the grocery but I am going to shop local today because of the snow. It does not look like I will get to Sheridan until at least Thursday.

I am thinking about making this...on Sunday.. not sure....

Cauliflower/Artichoke Bake

1 head of Cauliflower, cut into florets
1 bag of Trader Joe's Frozen Artichoke Hearts, thawed
2 heaping Tbsp of sour cream
2 healping Tbsp of mayo
1 to 2 Tbsp of cream cheese
2 handfules of parm cheese, plus extra to put on top
1 to 1.5 cups of mozzerella cheese, plus extra to put on top
3 cloves of garlic
Splash of half and half (prob. would use soy or LC milk next time)
S&P to taste
Parsley to taste
Onion powder to taste

Steam Cauliflower and mass (I do not boil b/c it adds too much H2O) in bowl; steam artichokes and chop up (I did in microwave witha little H20) and thoroughly dry then add to cauiliflower. Add rest of ingredients and place in a glass dish(my preferred method - can use whatever you want) sprayed with Pam.

Bake covered at 375 to 400 degrees until bubbly (about 20 minutes) then top with parm and mozz cheese. Cook uncovered until cheese is melted and browned a bit on the edges. Let cool for 5 minutes.

By the way...fell in love with a new retaurant this weekend...I am not sure what parts of the country they are in...I think they are fairly new...they use all organic and locally grown food and also had some gluten free desserts...it was so yummy..and you can go look at the food you will be eating...small but, quality menu. Once I started looking around I noticed a few in CA.

Not to take away from any other city...but, Boston people are kind of unique.. I know many who were there...and some who ran in it..one man actually went there from here in CA to watch it. Dinner tonight is roasted salmon, roasted asparagus, slaw, little red roasted potatoes - I'm in a roasting mood - ya think? We are on NO DESSERT for the week, after going through a whole pan of brownies, way too much candy, and cookies.............Thankfully it was not the candy or the cookies - I left them alone - but - well - ummm - the brownies, it was not a pretty sight. But, they are gone - phew - that's one thing out of my sight.

KC - have to tell you - reading your posts are so much fun. I got all excited for dd dancing and all. I would have loved to have seen mama's face when she got the awards for her dance routines. And now - getting a tutu for oldest bday. Thanks for sharing all those nice moments with us. They are a joy to read.

Deb - I'm sorry to hear you see so much of Ken's losses with memory. Do they think meds will help much - if at all? How aware of it is he? I know this is very hard on you - worrying and all. Re Kenny - until he decides he's going to do something about it - there really isn't much you can do - except worry and then worry somemore. Kids - and they are always our kids - no matter how old they get. I still don't know how to not worry about them. Not like it helps any - that's a mom's lot in life I think. Hope the poison ivy is much improved today.

So I'm home. Went to dr, thrift store, grocery store and got my milk at the local dollar store for $2. The boys have slowed down so we only go through 2 gallons a week now but since I went right by there, it makes sense to get 2 gallons for the regular price of one.

I found a few tanks for under tops. I don't like very low cut stuff so I usually wear tanks under stuff. I found some in different colors and sizes. Also found 1 pair of dress slacks, dark gray and a pair of very thin chambray capris. That's about it.

My mil asked me if I had any egg coloring as Ukrainian Easter is May 5. I don't but saw some today for 25 cents at the local grocery so I picked up 2 boxes and dropped those off to her house(on the way home). She forgot she asked me. LOL
