I have a dr appt tomorrow. This is just my primary dr. I've stopped taking my thyroid med cause it didn't make any difference at all. I don't like taking pills and I already take a bunch of vitamins/supps. Plus I'm a little overdue to see him anyway.

I'm going to check out a big George Forman grill today that I found on craigslist. I'm excited cause I've wanted one for a long time. It'll be perfect for the boys to cook their lunches on and stuff.

I think we'll get a lot of use out of it. The boys love panini's and this will make them easily and hot dogs, burgers, etc. This is the $83 one on Amazon---she wants $15 and it looks almost new.

My boss gave me a Cusinart like the George Foreman. I can turn the plates and grill on one side and do panni's on the other. It is in the dishwasher almost every day. You can bake biscuits or cinammon rolls on it. My grandkids love that.

Chewie, it kind of flattens things, but they bake so much faster than in the oven.

So, what's for dinner tonight? I'm making salmon patties and broccoli cheese soup, a big green salad plus cheese rounds too.

Just a quick good morning.. pretty down in the crapper today... due to things other than diet...which I gained a pound there...I haven't read the thread.. I apologize...except for one thing I saw.....in regards to the George Foreman Grill.. I am on the only person on earth who hates everything about it....the clean up for me is worse than using a non stick pan...wished I knew where mine was Chewie I would send it to you... but then I am someone who doesn't have a microwave...

Lony.. I decided on getting in half an hour a day of walking this week..... TOM I thought was coming and then vanished..but left the symptoms.. so but I think I can handle half an hour.. so I have a 1/3 of it done already.. not too bad.. no rush....I can kind of push myself to have it all done by a certain time.. which really is not the best for my knees...

Deb.. glad Ken made it ok...

have a good day everyone....

Dad brought Eli up to the hospital to pick something out for Layla at the gift shop. They let him go to the ICU doors to give it to mom. He started crying and said he missed his sissy and wanted to go see her. The dr. was kind enough to let them take him in. He was so happy to see her.
GOOD NEWS.....they just took her off of the ventilator!!! Happy dancing. They still have a small amount of oxogen on her. She may be going home in a day or two!!!!!! I will be SO glad when they take that IV out of her little forehead!!

KC, congratulations to your daughter.
Deb, I know how your son feels. In high school, I got to the place I felt 2nd was losing. Congrats to him. I'm glad Ken made it all right.
Lony, hope you are feeling better soon. Even though the pain stopped, get yourself to the doctor.

Lony--50 miles in a month??? Wow, that's a lot.

Melinda--sorry about the TOM. I hope your knees don't cause you too much pain. It will get easier, the more you do it.(Me--the queen of exercise excuses is telling you that--roflol)

So I got the grill, it's very nice. I tried to bargain but she wanted the $15 firm. Oh well, I think it's worth it. Then I stopped at a thrift store over that way looking mainly for pants. I was pretty lucky as I found a bunch of pants marked down to 50 cents. I got sizes from 20--16. Every brand is different sized and it's so hard just looking at them. At 50 cents, I can even throw them away and no biggie. lol

I also got a load of laundry in the dryer now. The d.w. needs to be unloaded but my back is a little sore so I think I'm going to just relax for a bit first. I am trying to drink 100 oz of water a day. So far today, I have had 82 oz. That does not include my coffee from this morning or the one I will have in a little while to get some energy for the afternoon.

OMG-- 2 explosions just occurred at the Boston marathon and hurt a bunch of people. I sure hope it's just an accident. How horrible. I feel sick.

I edited it. I was copying and pasting a pizza recipe and that was what I typed in error. Sorry. This is horrible.
