Deb, put him in a suit and use buttons for medals. An old hard hat spray painted green would serve for the helmet. He is Patton so his unifrom should be different from the others. I'll bet you could take a pair of knee high white socks and make spats from them. Google Patton and you will get some inspiration.

Since I am not going to be running a sweat shop I think I will be ok for now at the fabric stores. I am going to be doing custom work so I won't know from shirt to shirt what I will need.

Deb how about some green sweats? You can add a collar to the shirt and make it look like a uniform with buttons and medals like Lucky suggested. Just cut the bands off the shirt top and bottom. If you can't find some green, white and some RIT dye should do the trick.

Deb....I have always taught my son to let that stuff roll off his back....or else it's not going to be good mentally..hubs and I are both fat, and hubs stutters... So I taught him at an early age to say screw them, that they don't know how wonderful he is....so I have always tried to build him up....to prepare him in case the kids make fun....not saying its not hurtful.

You are talking my language Melinda........I have a fool-proofed way to stop it though. You MUST put at least 3-4 pieces of strong peppermint gum in your mouth and chew like mad just BEFORE you open the chicken. I don't even care for peppermint gum, but, it sure helps - and there's a lot more chicken on the plate when you're done.

Hey Lony, How about square dancing skirts/blouses - I used to make them for my sister when she and her dh. With matching shirt for the guy. These square dancing clubs are big - very fancy stepping, etc. My b-i-l built their house with the idea of putting a basement in - just for practice sessions with their club. At that time, I didn't even know about competitions and such. Who knew?

Linda...you know....my son chews gum 24/7.,,,,and yet his teeth brushing leaves something to be desired..,,so he goes to the dentist 2 Saturdays ago..,,it's in walking distance.....comes home and tells me that the dentist told him.,,,his teeth are virtually clean and cavity free....it's from the gum! Go figure....but I love that idea..I may buy some leg quarters cook and debone,,,

Gee, Deb, how terrible! Your heart must have broken for him.Mine is! So how would he feel about going on a LC diet again? OR, If you were to bring it up as like it is something you are feeling like you need to do for yourself. Maybe point out how you have noticed how much more difficult it is for you to do things physically since you have put on weight, and how with the grandbaby coming you want to be able to do lots of things with him/her and be around for a lot of their growing up years. Point out how it is hard to cook different meals for everyone so if everyone is willing to go on it with you it would be easier for you to stay on plan, etc.......maybe if you make it more about you and don't make it seem like it is for him, he won't feel bad? Am I saying this well? Do you get what I am trying to say?

???? I was just thinking a fabric wholesaler for unique fabrics and extra profit margin, but sweat shop would work too I guess......

Oh my gosh you are so cute! I meant I am not going to be mass producing. The specialty shops are charging upwards of twenty bucks a yard for fabrics. Maybe after I get famous

KC you did fine thank you SIGH it is me about trying to do ANYTHING though i just don' seem to have the gumption and have been taking the easiest route on cooking we were planning when school gets out to do HCG again i was looking at his pics from then and wow what a diffrence
he has been riding the stationary bike he is up to 12 mintes on it

sooo we stopped in tractor supply after school(he was so disappointed when i told him about the clothes) and found a blue coverall that looks very janitory to me (and it is just a little tight)and since the others are in blue camo should fit in and some rubber boots that look military! he did not want me to spend the extra money but i said i had a CC he would not believe LOL(i wish we had gone there in the first place) and SO that means the hard hat we have i don't even have to paint! and thaat he can use that outfit here after the play to work on vehicles clear out the dog lot or just anything and he said the boots would come in way handy when the yard is soo soaked from rain or even snow so thank you all for thiking of him this afternoon i really belive that helped to find him this! i am going to find a star to put on the front of the hard hat and i have paints to make it metallic(i think i have some wooden stars somewhere)
and then wlamart OMG awful! but i got him some pictures printed out there for his senior memory book he has to work on(we should have been doing that all year UGH) my printer ran out of ink last night and these new ones don't do as good as mu old dinosaur one did can not find ink for that anymore though i hope it works for him

only got about 1/3 of my list HAD to get out of there walmart was insane!

Deb--sounds like you found a very practical solution for Steven. Yahoo!!! Good job.

Linda--how are you doing? Great idea for Lony on the square dance costumes.

Melinda--did you have any protein today? Get in any walking?

I'm feeling a tad sad, uninspired, bored. I need to figure something out. Hope it gets warmer here like it's supposed to and then maybe I can start gardening or at least get the patio cleaned up for spring/summer.

So what's for dinner? I have 2 small pork roasts in the crockpot---making Parmesan honey garlic pork. I also made a new dish: caramelized cabbage & onions.
