good afternoon ladies! Busy day today! I sanded and stained the entertainment center Mike built on his last off time. Went to walfart and stocked in all the grub I am going to need for the kings return. Now I am getting ready to scrub the house top to bottom. That way all I have to do tomorrow is laundry.

Ok ladies get up and move those bodies! We like to move it move it. Hehe

Dinner is Linda Sue's Green chili chicken enchilada bake. I had a ton of leftover sticky chicken and dh pulled it off the bone yesterday so easy peasy. I already assembled it and it's ready to bake.

Oh, btw, that carrotcake cheesecake was proclaimed "Awesome" by everyone. I had 2 bites of dh's but that's it. It was a lot of work so I'm really glad it was well received. I gave a big chunk to the parents plus a lot of other leftovers. They will be eating good this week.

Just asking.....if you had a 12-13-14 yr. old would you want him being able to walk into a health dept. to ask for free condoms with other kids waiting for him on their bikes?
Call me old (because I am) but as a parent I best be asked and informed about something of this nature. If he wants condoms then a parent should be there with him in my view.

Sue I think they should be able to this. There are so many irresponsible parents out there that dont give a rip about what happens to their kids. I would rather kids were being responsible for their actions. Otherwise we will have yet another generation who don't give a rip about their unwanted children.

Nope....I still say parents should be made to come in before handing out anything to children. That is just what they were. Children...laughing, banging on the doors, and pulling on the doors trying to get in. The girl with the 3 laughing boys couldn't have been over 13. We just live in a sad day and time. Anything goes it seems.

absolutely! no matter how many people think they aren't having sex, they sure are and always have been. heck when i was growing up the 14 -15 year olds were getting more than the grown ups! much better safe than sorry! and pregnancy isn't the only concern STDs can stay with you for the rest of your life
and most kids aren't comfortable even talking to their parents about things
let alone asking for help especially if they think they would just be shut down
i always talked honestly with both my guys and stressed NO MATTER WHAT KIND OF SEX always always wear a condom unless actively trying to get pregnant

Sue I wished we lived in a society where everyone loved their children the way we do. it's a sad commentary on our times, children of children. Look at the news, rape murder heck I saw on the news how a church in Denver was vandalized Saturday night. IMHO we need to be able to discipline our children again. A whole lot of kids these days have NO respect for anything.

Sorry
for the typos. Dang pilaf.

Hello everyone!

Melinda I'm so sorry to hear that your DH got his papers stolen.

Lony you are on fire lately. Good job!

Not much of interest to report. Typing from work. Weekend was Dullsville at work. Today is a little bit more lively. Training a new night time person. He's not new to blood bank but he's new to nights.

Have a good day.
