I am having a hard time getting my water in today. I'm working on my first 40 oz now--have about 5 oz to go. Ugh.

LUCKY!! I need to ask you something.. your recipe for cubed roast...one can cream of mushroom soup, one can of golden mushroom, and one can french onion. Slow cook and it is delicious...

Can this be put in the crockpot???? and if you do it in the oven...do you cover??? I actually want to make it in my crockpot...that is if I can find some meat..

Melinda, I think it gets watery in the crock pot. I like it covered in the oven. I don't think I mentioned, but don't put any water with it. The gravy is to die for.

OH ok...so do you cook it on like 350 for a 2 or 3 hours?????

I have this one store.. that sells 2 lasagne throw away pans for 1.29 and the 3 round big throw away pans for 1.00 and every week I go down there and buy them...it's just cheaper for me to do that.. and easier than washing...

I am going to Walfarts tomorrow morning..and I am going to see what kind of meat they have.. you know those Pork Country ribs?? well they have Beef Country Ribs.. those need to cook low and slow anyway...

Say did you know that Pork Country Ribs.. isn't really ribs.. they are actually Pork chops.. cut that way...LOL saw that on a cooking show....on PBS.. Cooks Country.. I love that show...

I usually cook it at 325 for 3 or 4 hours. Sometimes I do a pork roast and beef roast together.

i have a recipe that was soo yummy let me see if i can find it
i think it was just an italian dressing packet and brown sugar

i also added a little actual italian dressing cause it seemed a bit dry but oh man did it turn out yummy
i mixed the packet and brown sugar put it all over the chicken put in oven at 350 for about 30 minutes turned and cooked 15-20 more turned again and got it out after about 5 or so mine had bone in soo for boneless it would probably be less time

Quote:
Sweet Italian Chicken
1 T. Italian Dressing Mix or 1 pkt. Good Season’s Italian Dressing Mix
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
8 boneless skinless chicken thighs, excess fat removed

In a bowl mix all of the ingredients until chicken is coated evenly. Place in a single layer in a baking dish and bake in 375 degree oven for 40 minutes. Serves 4-5

lucky it was GOOD soo good that if i ever have a potluck to go to AGAIN I WILL MAKE THAT! sorry cat in lap and caps lock! it makes the chicken look pretty too

Lucky.. Thank you very much.. I am sure I have asked you a zillion times....I can't wait to try it.. it's one of those things that is easy.. it's the mix and bake and forget about it....sounds so good....

Deb..That sounds awesome...I have a family pack of thighs.. I think there is 8 of them....and I have to make the chicken so hubs won't taste the "chicken" taste....LOL!!! My favorite way to make chicken is Lawrys and bake at 400.. but that is to "chickeny"....another recipe I saw was crockpot.. with coke and catsup.....so I may do 4 one way and 4 the other way.. and I have brown sugar and a package of Good Seasons Italian mix....

Deb, this looks good. Love the minimal ingredients as well!!!

I have spent most of my time this morning knitting. I am showered and dressed and have made the kids' beds, done one load of laundry and unpacked dh's suitcase. But, that is it. Yesterday I cast on the 126 stitches I need for the back of the cardigan that I am making for my mom. Finally got to the three inches of ribbing I need in order to begin the body of the sweater. I had to increase 2 stitches in the first row after the ribbing. So, I did my math to figure on which stitches to increase so that it is evenly spaced. Finished the row and instead of ending up with 128 stitches I had 129! How in the world did that happen?! So, hoping that I had miscounted, I knit another row counting all the way and again.....129 stitches. I must be the only person on the planet who can increase two stitches yet end up with three extra stitches instead of two. Sigh. I was never very good in math.....

Well, Deb would if I could. Kinda surprises me that you can't seem to do it, though. You seem to do so well building, making, fixing things that I would have thought that you would have caught on in a jiffy!

How is Ashley feeling, today? Do they think she has passed the kidney stone?
