Had a really good weekend. Sunshine & plenty of it! Spent a lot of time outdoors soaking up that vitamin D!

Blondie. . Coming back here was the first step in your success. . . so many have left here and NEVER returned. Everyone has setbacks. If you face them head-on, you are more like to succeed in the future! So glad to see you here!

Z. . . Embrace the stall. . .good to see you. even for a small moment.

Rebecca- A jump in weight can happen easily, usually it is water or you might be a bit constipated, it all adds up. It'll drop just as fast as it came on.

Arbee- Welcome! I am glad you are feeling great and have a good attitude towards the positive aspects of LC. Liking what you are doing and eating is so important to sticking with this long term.

Blondie- Like Terri said the important thing is that you did not give up. Lesson learned and you are back at it. WTG with the gym and treadmill! Since being so obese I have really shied away from cameras for years. I don't have any from my highest weight but do have older ones where I am over 300lbs. I will try and find them and post them soon.

Rest assured - I'm still in the game. it was just easier to post when I had something to say other than "same weight different day"

The scale says 272, but I'm "down to" a 47.5 inch waist. I've dropped two of those inches in the last month. I'll admit that's a less than inspiring number, but to put it in perspective, My waist was at 59 inches in September.

I now own a custom-made $1000+ suit that I cannot wear because it is FAR too large on me. It was hand stitched by a leading "Big and Tall" tailor in San Francisco to fit me, specifically, and now it fits me like a little kid trying on dad's off-the-rack bargain basement suit.

It's a good thing I still have my off-the-rack bargain basement suit from several years ago - it fits me again.

Even if the change wasn't so dramatic when trying on clothes, I simply feel better. A number on the scale is irrelevant when I've more than doubled my strength. My endurance used to be measured in minutes standing - now it's measured in hours walking or in the gym.

I have the feeling I'm going to hit into the 269 in the next few weeks. But whether I lose weight or not, living right is never the wrong choice. On a long enough timeline, results happen. They just don't always happen on the scale.

Blondie, so sorry to read of the loss of your father. He is resting peacefully now. Looks like things are going better for you now and you are able to focus on getting healthy again. ((hugs)). Glad to see you back.

Another month in the same stall. Here's why I'm having problems moving on from here:

1). I like what I see when I look in the mirror. . . collar bones
2). I'm wearing all my "skinny" clothes from 2004.
3). Size 16 looks pretty good on a tall girl like me.
4). I'm not gaining it back, and I want to see how long I can maintain.

Who am I kidding? Myself? Although all the above statements are true, I still want to move forward. I have 30 lbs to go for goal. I'll find the mojo. Eventually!

Terri, I just found a really neat website and I think you will think its cool too. You can plug in those two weights/heights (current and goal) and finds pics of women with those stats. Maybe seeing what a difference those 30 will give you the oomph in your desire to reach that goal. Check it out!
Its called my body gallery datt come (avoiding reprimanding )
