Living 101 lbs less

Hello everyone, I am new to this site and I can honestly say I am not sure why it took me so long to find it. I woke up this morning celebrating my 101 lbs. I have lost. I love the way I feel again. Still have about 55 lbs. I want to lose but, one day at a time. I started back in Sept 2012 when my Dr. told me I had to lose weight and quit smoking. So, I did both. Still smoke free and have quit all the meds I was taking.

Still looking around the site but, wanted to say hello.

Here is a pic a found that is me heavy but not at my biggest. It is hard to find pictures of me when I was always hiding from the camera.

Congratulations on your spectacular loss! It is amazing that you stopped smoking and lost weight at the same time. Your doc and family must be thrilled with your transformation. Keep up the great work and you'll be at goal soon.

Well done for the weight loss and the non smoking! Did you loose all your weigh thru low carbing, or using other stuff as well?

Thanks everyone! To answer a few questions:

I lost most my weight on Atkins but then switch to the "Cave Man". I use a company called Melaluca for non-toxic hygene stuff. I do miss my cheese!

I quite smoking using Chantix for one month but they made me sick. I figured after a month in I could quite the pills. So far so good. The smell of smoke makes me sick now.

Younger? Really? Wow thanks!

I really am blessed to have two great kids! That is about the only thing good from my x-wife that I got.

And last, this really is a great site with lots of info. I love reading on my lunch time.

Congrats to you! You look great!! I have virtually NO pictures with my kids for the first 8 years of their lives...big mistake. Be happy you have at least that terrific one!
