Yesterday I only did weights. Today started way better: 1.5 miles on the treadmill and 20 minutes on exercise bike. Have a good day! |

No more nightly pain pill!!!!
Woohoo..I slept all night witout needing hydrcodone, this is awesome as I have been needing them for a long time. Exercise really helps, I'm not doing too much but will build up as time goes on. Yipeee

Today my goal is to walk over 10,000 steps
So far I am at 8,222 I went for my first walk in the park with my hubby for the new year. It has been so cold, but spring is starting to peak throughh every once in a while I will check in here. Thanks |

I made it to 10,575! The walk in the park was invigorating. The snow is still on the ground but you see where they had taken a snowblower to make a path.
I was cooking all afternoon for the coming week. I broiled brussel sprouts, baked summer squash, riced some cauliflower (that's a first). I am not real sure what to do with it. I made a meatloaf that I will have tomorrow. So with tomorrow being a work day, I will be lucky if I get to 5,000 steps. |

If anyone here lifts weights, I would like to start conservatively to add some weights in addition to walking. What would be a good place to start?

Can I join in? I started going to the gym at the end of Dec after losing 50lbs. My current regimen looks like this:
Four days per week 20 minutes elliptical-I do high intensity interval training(this is the best way I've found to get a quick workout in in less time) Alternate arm and leg weights Abs every time Stretches Although I think exercising has made it harder to see the scale move down, I have toned up my body in ways that I wouldn't have if I was just strictly LCing. I have gained muscle mass and my pain levels have went way down.
