Hi. I have been Lc ing for 9wks now. I am consistently losing between 2-3 lbs every week and I am happy with that. Lc is my new WOL and I am embracing it. My newest issue is that for the first time since I have been Lc ing I am hungry. Need some help here. I have been taking L- carnitine 1000mg before meals for 3 wks now and have no idea if this is helping me or not. I have been sticking with no more than 25 carbs a day and I am still able to lose. The biggest reason I like LC is because I wasn't hungry, what is going on? Why did all of a sudden I become hungry.

I don't know why you became hungry, but I think it's a signal from your body that's worth listening to.

I'd suggest having some snacks - maybe deviled eggs or meat, watching out for the carbs, of course - and finding something that's mostly fat or protein to eat.

thanks. Today I have really been careful about what I eat and when. I have added more veggies and taking away all forms of apartame.

I've seen people on these boards if they are hungry they add in more fat, that helps keep them satisfied longer. Do you like avocados? Those might be a good choice to add in.

I added in veggies too. You can get volume and load it with dressing. Very satisfying. Do you have a plan? Or an outline of what you want to do eat day? Many of us write out food down before we eat it, to insure we have what we need in the house.
