The clean eating is working to start to drop some weight. That and starting to move more helps too.

Krazy Kat- Woohoo,,,so close! You can do it. Do you have a special treat planned for celebrating the 100lb loss?

Cassidy- Hang in there. Have you looked at your food log to see where there are differences in your food intake between the last week or so and a time when you were losing well?

Kali- I am glad you are feeling better. Just hop on the scale and start from that point. You did what you had to do to get through an illness. You can regroup and start back to basics and drop the extra weight. This is life and we are not always able to eat 100% on plan. What is important is that when you are able that you get back to it and don't give up.

Terri- You really have figured out maintenance eating so well. I have heard that maintaining is harder than losing, sounds wrong until you think about it. I think most people start to get too relaxed when it is time to maintain. Like we are holding our breath to reach goal and maintaining we exhale (and then inhale the wrong foods).

Ceecee - Congrats ~~ that's such great news!

Well, I'm 0.2 away from 100lbs down and really hope to hit that tomorrow, although I'm going out to dinner tonight. Extra motivation to stay on track!

Thanks, groovy As far as any tips: I'd say that I've been successful this time around (and there have been many prior attempts!) because I've finally changed my mindset that I'm in this for life and I'm actually doing it for my health. Also, I've stopped being such an all-or-nothing person and striving for perfection because that only led to setting myself up to fail and then binge when "perfection" didn't happen. I also bake a LC dessert or two every weekend and treat myself to a few small servings (my DS and DH eat the rest) and that gives me a little treat to look forward to. Hope you make your March goal, groovy, and KUTGW!

Frankie - I'm hoping to celebrate with a shopping trip and mani/pedi with my DD who is home this week on spring break...she's always down to shop!

Still doing good with food. Trying to get in more walking. Have a new fitbit zip pedometer and that really helps.

Cassidy- Congrats on the news!

Kali- Just take it a day at a time. Ten days to the end of the month and a lot can happen.

Terri- I like the new avatar.

Focus- Hang in there. If I stop weighing I know it is the beginning of the end and I am not fooling myself. I must weigh everyday for the accountability. Coming here each day helps with that too.

Susan- I hope the fat fast works and helps you to refocus and stick to your plan.

KrazyKat- While having the pedi and bending over to take your shoes off, remember 100lbs ago when you could barely bend over because your tummy was in the way. This will be a celebration in itself. Enjoy!

Thanks Everyone!! I went for the confirmation appointment today. WOOO HOOOO. Unexpected blessing.

Thanks for the advice Terri. That is what I plan on doing. I really dont want to gain any weight. My Dr. told me I can still workout and just to cut back on starches and sugar (what I am already doing). So I plan on continuing the plan maybe raising my carb levels slightly so I wont go into ketosis.

Thanks for all the congrats.... we are really excited.

I will still be checking in. I need to be held accountable so I wont gain so much weight.

Hey guys! Jumping back in.. I've actually never stopped weighing daily, just didn't come to post. Mainly because I was trying to figure out what the heck to do about my struggle. Came to realize that I am dealing with some yeast overgrowth and think this is why i've struggled so much to get the scale to move. On top of that, the obvious eating plan for yeast problems is low carb..so, with that, I'm switching gears and jumped back into LC completely. I'm on day #3 of lc and day 2 of supps.. so far I am already feeling very positive effects from it and I'm hopeful. It feels good to be hopeful right now. Scale is moving sloooowwww but figure it's from die off and won't see much loss until I'm "gut healthy"

Everyone looks like they've had a pretty awesome month so far!

So happy today!! I finally did it! Weighed in today at 179.6!! Down 100lbs on my 13 month Atkins-versary!

I really wanted to reach this milestone so even though I went out to dinner at this fabulous Italian restaurant last night I passed on the wine , dressed my salad in oil/vinegar instead of their great house dressing, and brought home my cannoli (which was included with the dinner) to my kids (double ). NJ may have a lot of problems but it has great Italian restaurants--LOL!

DesertGurl - back and glad that you got to the bottom of your health issues and are back on the road to success!

Thanks for the welcome back everyone! I have missed everyone... and OMG, totally missed the post about Ms. Cassidy!!! girl!! So happy for you and the mister!!!!!

Weight stayed the same today..ate Chipotle last night and definitely had too much cheese and sodium! Feeling pretty awesome though so I'm excited to see what lays ahead!

Krazy Kat- Awesome job on your entry to the 100lb Club! Italian food can be difficult but most places will sub veggies for pasta in a dish. But for the bread and desserts you just have to white knuckle it to not cave in. Good job on passing that cannoli, I can assure you the feeling of making it to 100 lost is way better than any cannoli on earth would taste! Yup I am feeling like a new person, although I cannot see any loss in the mirror, crazy but true. Guess that is what happens when you avoid mirrors and photos for so long that when you finally start looking all you see is the weight.

Danielle- I am glad you are back and feel hopeful about eating LC again. I think my outlook about eating this way is so important to my success. If I look at all the great things I can eat that satisfy me me rather than those few things that I like that will send me to weight gain and cravings, I am pretty happy about things and feel like I can do this long term. This is a big change for my thinking and state of mind.

Susan- WTG on the whoosh! I work popcorn into my plan occasionally. I just make sure I limit my other carbs for the day. I like the Orville Redenbacher smart pop kettle corn in the small single size bags, this way I cannot overeat it.
