Thanks Deb, I did look at those. I was not totally impressed with the designs they have but it is an option.

Lony...I knew a lady who bought one some yrs. back. I called to see about her doing something for me on a blanket for Layla but she got rid of it. I guess she likes doing her cakes better. She really got into making cakes and selling them. Do you have room for one? I might be wrong ( most of the time I am) but for some reason I was thinking they were pretty good sized. Maybe not. I like what Mike said about just having it put away when he comes home to "visit"!! LOL I would go to a Singer or other sewing machine store and see what they have to offer in your price range. Of course that might not be so easy to find a store like that up in your country.

Chewie....we are going to get rain today and some mixed rain and snow later this weekend. You picked the best days of the week to come for your mini vacation.

kcmama....are you still riding all over the country on that train?????????

Linda....how is your eye doing????

I just about have my room cleaned and I even got rid of a huge container. I emptied it out! Yeah for me. I think I have earned a cup of coffee so I think I will go have that and then finish up and sew!

Sue you are right, sewing machine stores are hard to come by. JoAnnes does not carry them in store, they are online only. I think I would really enjoy one and they are so small now that everything is computerized.

Sue--I was watching the weather and that's why we came earlier this week. My ds18 and his friends are planning a trip tomorrow night. I just told him I didn't know if that was such a good idea but he said they'll be fine. I am a bit concerned about a bunch of college freshman in what to us is "The BIG City--Tulsa!" LOL

It is 25 here and they are calling for 12" of snow Saturday night. I am planning to take 3 of the grandkids to an Easter egg hunt Saturday. Hope I don't have to dress them in snow boots.

Here in Wyoming we don't get pretty easter dresses, we just get a new colorful parka.

Snow, snow, snow here too and GIANT flakes too. I went to the market and got a few things. I have a pork butt in the oven slow roasting. Seasoned it with Mexican stuff like cumin, garlic, etc. I'll shred it later and make carnitas. Also am going to make French onion soup, Cajun wilted cabbage and some kind of dessert. I'm not sure on the dessert yet though.

The 300 lb. site here is where I lost most my weight back in around 2002 or so.

I still have keep most it off but have gained a few pounds back since I was laid up with my two knee replacements but now am out walking and getting some exercise again trying to work off those gained pounds.

I'll try to post more often here.
I still love all the cute cartoons you post Deb....

Oh gosh, I have got to change that picture of me, didn't realize how old it made me look.....

There has been Easter's when we have had to have the fire place on and hunt eggs in the house! Geez..I hope this isn't one of those years. I would love to have a nice day for the kids. Ok....and for the big kid, ME!

Chewie....just tell them to stay away from the north side of town and also do NOT go around 61th and Peoria. Lots of drugs and shootings in both of those places. Down town is the in place for young people to go, along with down south on Memorial and the 71st street area.

Lony....you might as well just get those boots on and go to town girl and order that machine you want!! You deserve it. Just have it put away for when your special visitor comes home.

Hi and nice to meet you Pcolo Girl. You have done well with keeping weight off for that long!!

I got my room cleaned and I made a little skirt even!

Chewie....can we come to your house to eat. It sounds yummy as always!

Hi again. I got the pork shredded and getting all crispy and yummy in the oven. The cajun cabbage is simmering on the stovetop. I ran out of steam and didn't end up making the onion soup or any dessert. There's always tomorrow. lol Plus no one knew of my intentions so they'll be happy with what I made anyway.

Sooooooooooooo I got a fitbit for my birthday and according to it if I want to lose 2 pounds a week I can eat 1197 calories a day. All I have left is dinner and 600 calories for it Since I am planning on chicken breast and broccoli I think I am going to be way under.

I didn't get to walk today because of the weather...stupid snow!

No I have been eating triple that. LOL thats why I gained weight.

I finally got myself back into the mind set that I need to get the poundage off. So I picked the hardest setting on the fitbit for weight loss and 1200 is what they gave me. It just seems like a lot to me.

shoot even on HCG which can release 2000-2500 calories a day we would still eat 500-750 in food a day! soo i mean 1200 without hcg really will help get it off honestly any LOWER would be way rough and you would be using muscles for fuel not the fat you want to burn you can do this and you and melinda will keep up your exercise
LOL i walked up and down the stairs a few extra times today
do you drink cream in your coffee? one spoonful of HWC has 50 calories and that would up it if you are low
