Soooo I was cleaning up my mess in the kitchen and was going to put the sauce back in the fridge. I guess my brain stopped working at that point. The next thing I saw as I was closing the fridge door was my bottle of bleach cleanser!! Thank goodness I saw it and hub didn't open the door and find it. That story would have been pasted on a million times I am sure!

I have a meat loaf in the oven, LC sausage, bacon/egg muffins baking, and I made Mexican White Chicken Chili. I'm calling it a day in the kitchen and heading off to sew now.
Have a wonderful afternoon!!!!!!!!!!

Lony....did you make yourself a lovely BD cake??? It looks like it is just Deb and me around this afternoon so you can pass us a slice please!!!!

The government should come over and shake my hand and pat me on the back for being responsible, working, and not overburdening the system with multiple children instead of punishing me. But I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles.
I hear you Eliza - we've been working on taxes this week too. It's always good for an argument or two. Hate doing taxes - they should not be so darn aggravating - all these if/or, go to, etc.

Sue, these all sound very tasty. So you make up your muffin sandwiches ahead of time and freeze them? Have you made the Mexican chili before? Wanna put the recipes out for us? I have been wanting to make a meat loaf for the last couple of weeks - just haven't done it yet. Maybe this will be the week.

Same here Deb, cold and blowing. I have had a nice day. We ran out to the range and it was soooooooo cold. I shot 5 rounds through the Judge and sat in the car. hahaha

We are going to order some dinner from the steak house to go because the service there is sooooooooooo slow.

Didn't you say the steak and hot dogs were fake? They sure do look real. What a clever idea. Glad you had a good time and got a new friend while Mike is off working. And steak for dinner.........doesn't get much better than that. Enjoy - and I know you will.

OMGosh Linda they are just made out of fondant. So super easy. I made them in like 20 mins and that included kneading the fondant.

Please feel free to steal the idea!

I don't have a picture of the chicken, I took video. I have forgotten how to capture a picture from video. I'll have to work on that.

Linda....they are not sandwiches. Here is the recipe. Instead of ham I cooked up sausage. I also threw in a little bacon bits. They turned out really yummy!! Just throw a couple in the micro for a jiffy and you have breakfast! A good LC breakfast.

The soup I have made before. It was in a family cookbook.

Mexican White Chili.

1 lg. boneless chicken breast
1/2 envelope of taco seasoning (or make your own)
1 14.oz chicken broth
2-16oz. cans Great Northern White Beans (Do not drain)
1 sm. can green chilies
1 10oz. Rotel, drained somewhat
1/2 cup corn (optional)
1 tsp. salt
Tortilla chips
sour cream
Cheddar cheese, shredded

Cut up chicken into bite sized chunks and place in non stick skillet: cook on medium heat until no pink remains. Sprinkle taco seasoning over chicken.
In medium saucepan, add broth, beans, chilies, and drained Rotel; cook on medium low heat until thoroughly warmed. Add chicken to soup. Add salt and cook until hot. Serve into individual bowls and top with crumbled tortilla chips, cheese, and sour cream.

Lony....your cake turned out cute!!!!
