Google it, my friend. They have a Wikipedia page and lots of free info. There's probably a 5:2 thread here on LCF, too.

I'll be doing the LC version.

Eliza......get to feeling better soon!! You are wasting your Spring Break!!!
Lony.....enjoy having hubby home!!!!!!!!
Melinda....that was nice that Jermery got to see all his old teachers and they made over him. Good for the male ego!!!! That is great that he is going to donate his locks!!
Chewie......I hope you can figure out what is causing the hives. I used to know a lady who would get them whenever she got upset. Did you happen to get upset over something maybe?

Hi to everyone.....Eli is playing in the tub with his new bunny cycle. We have already been to the $1 store this morning. He wanted a big form plane so he and papa could fly it this evening. Have a great day all!!!!
It is the best, Sue...a couple of books come with it...so very helpful...I do greens first..then frozen and sometimes some fresh fruit..then nuts, seeds, goji berries and/or ground flax or chia seeds...and I use all kinds of greens...kale..chard...parsley...mixed greens...with the fruit you don't even taste them...and the book also gives recipes...I just love the clean up..there really isn't any...and it makes everything so smooth...I use raw nuts..and seeds..by the way. Lots of info on the net re smoothies..

Thanks Elizakins....I did read it...to me it's like the Judd diet however that is spelled....but instead of the down days being every other, it's in a row...just wanted to make sure I was right....I hope it works successfully for you...

So I opened my jar of mayo and bleck! I am gonna have a sandwich thin..2 points.....burger patty.....6 points...,,2 strips of bacon 2 points....no points for my catsup or mustard...10 points. Total...I wanted the coleslaw on my sandwich but that was nasty..

With 5:2 you only have 2 down days instead of every other day, but they should not be consecutive.

Currently it costs $40-60 K to support a prisoner per year. In the meantime, it only costs about $8K per year to properly educate a child during their school years where they don't drop out of school and stay on the straight and narrow....

This is where society's efforts should be directed - to properly educate and support young people. Society benefits two fold - much less crime and billions of dollars in savings over the long term.

Politicians whose agenda is to cut costs through education show their ignorance and inability to see beyond their nose. Shame on them for not even trying to see the long term effects of this short-sightedness.
