So for the second time in a few weeks, I have hives on my face. WTH??? My eyes are all itchy and a bit swollen. We ate so late last night, 8:20, that I took 2 benadryl and went to bed at 9:30. I don't know what I'm going to do today. I might have to call my dr. GRRRR

You are BRILLIANT!!!!! Has anybody ever told you that?! I was thinking maybe of trimming the dress fabric pocket with some of the contrasting fabric but bias tape is a great idea! Yes, I am set on pockets. One of the sites, either for the Pillowcase Dresses or the Dress A Girl Around the World mentioned how much the girls like pockets as they can put a couple of things in them and be hands free. I also remember how my own kids looooooved pockets. They would notice if an article of clothing didn't have a pocket and complain and/or not wear it. Kids and pockets go together. I learned to check pockets before putting clothing into the washer, too.

My kids were particularly fond of rocks and crayons......

I used the Mrs. Meyer's Geranium cleaning products. Reminds me of roses. Crabtree and Evelyn used to have a rose scented line. I also love rose scented things, my dh and kiddos can't stand them.

Well, I have been eating lc since Friday. Been hungry a lot most days and have not lost a single pound. So, this morning I ate a slice of the Oatmeal Choc Chip bread that I made. I am bummed. My weight just does not want to budge.

I am reading a book called Kick Your Fat in the Nuts by T.C. Hale, he says if your digestion is not working properly you will never lose weight. He has some very interesting information on body chemistry and how to lose weight by getting all your "functions" in order. I would highly recommend it.

Oh and it is super funny so it makes reading a pleasure!

Eliza, all of those purple dresses and shoes were gorgeous!! Oldest has her first friend's engagement party coming up. Her friend is Pakistani but has been here about 10-12 years. Her English is impeccable. She is so pretty and nice, graduating from KU in May and going to Law school in the fall. She is talking my daughter into going to Law School as well......Anyway, her parents arranged her marriage. As it turns out, they didn't just pick some random guy, they talked to her off and on for the last 3-4 years and learned she has had a crush on one of her older brother's friends anyway. Long story short, he is now her fiance and they are both very happy about it. Her brothers are happily married from arranged marriages, her parents as well. I think I should call the parents and take lessons on how to get your kids married off!

Currently oldest is dating someone who has a job. He is an accountant. Her last boyfriend was still a college student.
