Hiya girls

Hope everyone is having a great Monday. Sorry I haven't been around much, battling a cold. DH is also sick. Eek! And it's my Spring break...

Chews, congrats on being able to cross your legs. How cool is that!

You know what Lynn.. Keep in mind my husband has always had leg cramps.. and his legs have always been sore...in fact the doctor wants him to wear compression stockings, like the ones you get at the Med Supply store.. he won't...men jeesh...anyway but since cutting down on those sweeteners.. he has not had those violent cramps, 5 times a night, like he had been having...so I thank you so much from my heart for that.. cause it just made me panic to see him in such pain like that.. I am not going to say it's going to stop those cramps.. but as I said not like what he was getting.. so I am always on him.. when you get the coffee...watch that sweetener...because he isn't going to give up his diet soda, or sweeteners in general...so knock wood so far so good.. again I thank you so much...

All you cat people...I have a question. I'm considering buying a nice 6 foot round jute braided rug for under my kitchen table, which is also round. My biggest concern is the kitty. He has a scratching post, but prefers to test his nails on my family room furniture, which is chenille. Do you think kitty will use my brand new jute rug for a scratching post?

Wouldn't want to go and spend money on something that will be shredded and end up looking crazy in no time.

Chewie, congratulations on being able to cross your legs.
It rained enough yesterday that it washed most of the snow away. We still have huge piles where driveways and streets were cleared.
May I brag on my grandsons? We go to a small church, but the boys go to the big church in town for a Wednesday evening program. There are about 100 kids go. They have started a select choir and have 10 kids in it. Both of the boys were invited to join. The oldest is in 5th grade and has sung with 6 kids from there before. The little one is in 2nd grade and he is the only one that young in the group. I'm pretty proud of them.
You should be proud Grandma!

I heard that the less water you drink, the more water you retain. And vice versa, so you may wanna try drinking more water.

Awwww I sorry. You can try it and get some cat away to spray on the rug. The terror twins were never bothered by it though

Question for anyone: I am having them deliver my new head board and mattresses today. They will put the bed frame together and set the bed up for me. Do you tip delivery guys? This is a small store here in town with 2 young kid type guys. Thanks!!!
I would. If they are young kids, they can definitely use the money.

Look on craigslist and buy a used rug like I did. My floor is also tile and I don't like having my feet on the tile while eating. LOL

No I talked to the doctor about it..he told me not to guzzle down a lot of water.. and to keep in mind he said that our bodies take the water out of food sources as well.. it is what it is with my stupid fat body...even the OB GYN told me the same thing years ago... when I decided to drink water because I was bloated and ended up going to him with a 7 pound gain...

My dh has bad leg problems and diabetic too. I buy him special diabetic socks online. He likes them alot as he's on his feet for 10 hours at a time. Maybe that would help your dh???

My biggest problem is at work, can't leave the kids unsupervised to go potty. Earliest break i get is 11:15, leave the house before 7. I love drinking water but limit self to 2 bottles at work and then more after I get home.

Still haven't figured this one out, how to drink more and pee less

yeah we have those..funny thing.. my son loves those socks too!!! when he has to go to a band competition and needs to wear black socks, he grabs those...however they rip so easy... my hubs loves those.. my hubs is on his feet for both shifts...over 16 hours a day...and I think because he drinks coffee with tons of sweeteners.. that may have been the problem...oh I am not sure.. we both need to go back and lose weight is all I know...
