Good morning. Oh joy a Monday with an hour less of sleep and I was up extra early too. WTH is up with that????

Dinner was great. That coconut pie was loved by all, I didn't even taste it though. I had a cup of decaf w/sf vanilla. I changed the recipe a bit though---added an extra egg, used half/half and coconut milk, used sf coconut davinci and added a bit of coconut flour. Dh said he'd be happy to have that served to him in a restaurant. That is huge praise from him.

NSV--I was able to cross my legs comfortably yesterday. That's amazing. I couldn't do that for years.

I do, a lot of times their pay is not that great and they are expected to make up the money in tips. Then again I tip the coffee people at starbucks.

I'm out the doors soon to go hunt King sized pillows. I have these wonderful pillows I bought from JC Penny's some yrs. back that we really love. I just don't want to go all
the way over to SE Tulsa this morning. I may go and look at Wal Mart and K Mart. Maybe Martha Stewart has some decent ones.

It's going to be sunny but only in the 40's here today. After today it goes right on up. We are to have 3 days of 70's!!!!!! I think that deserves a SPRING picture!! Have a great morning everyone.

Good Morning Everyone....

Trying to get my walking in.. I said I wanted to strive for 60 minutes yesterday and I did 31....then I fell over my hub's size 13 shoes and over the stupid dog into the chair arm.. so that was the end of that...grrr.. so I just woke up and walked 10 minutes.. and since sonny boy is off today.. I have to get it all in.. well I don't have to.. he encourages me..but i use it as a motivation if you know what I mean..so onward I go...

By the way Lony, we are getting record temps here this week.. and I am just hating life about it.. Tue, Wed, Thurs...in the 90's...

Sue, I just use regular pillows on my king size bed. I have a pair of Walmart pillows I keep in the shams to throw on top of the bed to look pretty.
Chewie, congratulations on being able to cross your legs.
It rained enough yesterday that it washed most of the snow away. We still have huge piles where driveways and streets were cleared.
May I brag on my grandsons? We go to a small church, but the boys go to the big church in town for a Wednesday evening program. There are about 100 kids go. They have started a select choir and have 10 kids in it. Both of the boys were invited to join. The oldest is in 5th grade and has sung with 6 kids from there before. The little one is in 2nd grade and he is the only one that young in the group. I'm pretty proud of them.

Oh my, that's crazy in March. I was looking at my electric bill yesterday and saw the usage trends. We use the most energy in July & August---mostly a/c and of course, the pool. Sigh. It's going to be even more this year just as everything just keeps going up and up except our paychecks.

Chewie.. you know this is a high gas bill month for us here.. Dec, Jan and Feb.. and it's been like lower temps than normal.. however as you know my heater is broken so I haven't used it...so it's only to heat water basically and I sitting with a 45 dollar bill.. man in the summer months.. my gas bill used to be 7 bucks...I guess with rate hikes thru the years, it's really eye opening....plus my son takes hour showers it seems like..

Deb.. I don't know if your talking about me.. I am walking around this morning breathing so darn hard.. you could dub it for a porn flick..my goodness...I am not losing weight but I have to keep up with my walking...you can lose all the weight you want.. but you still have to maintain it and how do you do that?? by not exercising.. but I exercise more for my blood pressure and stress...I don't know as of now I have 30 of my 60 minutes completed.. and OMG I wished it was over already LOL!!! then my reward will be my iced coffee...it's warm this morning...in my house..
