It is going to be a great day! I wanted to get some new sneakers, my favorite store has Nikes on sale and I just got a 20% off coupon on facebook. I am doing the happy dance. It does not take much to make this fat girl happy.

Ingredients:

1 and 1/2 cups almond meal or almond flour
3 tablespoons melted butter
Artificial sweetener equal to 3 tablespoons sugar

Preparation:
Heat oven to 350 F. Melt the butter (if the pie pan is microwave safe, melt the butter in it) and mix the ingredients up in the pan and pat into place with your fingertips.

Bake for about 10 minutes until the crust is beginning to brown. After 8 minutes, check every minute or so, because once it starts to brown it goes quickly.
Sorry Melinda, I normally don't make a crust. Looking at this recipe though, I would add at least an egg white---3 T butter won't be enough to hold the almond flour together---imho.

Thanks Chewie.. I wouldn't either.. but it's more for them...my husband is pickier with food than a 2 year old...so it's more of a fake out kind of thing...if he sees the crust.. he will eat it.. if I put it in a glass, to eat like pudding he won't...dumb hubs..

It is called Shopko. It is pretty much like target. They have nice plus size clothes that are designed by bigger women. They also sell name brand shoes. Around here that is hard to find! So my shoes are marked down to 40.00 and I have my coupon.

OMG I would love it... don't laugh...oh the thought of it. that is the only thing that is keeping me from drowning in my sorrows about my son leaving for college.. is that I can go back to walking around naked...

Speaking of naked....My Mascarpone cheese, (had nothing to do with being naked) is coffee flavored...so I mixed a little bit of sugar free chocolate...to it...hopes it good..

Greetings All! The time has flown by this morning. We had rain overnight and fog! After I took youngest to her Girl Scout meeting I had to run to another JoAnne's and I had to jump on the highway to get there. It was hard to see to drive, dark, foggy, and raining, thunder and lightning. I am just praying that we won't get water in our basement. The drought this summer did a number on a lot of foundations. I tried to be good about watering around my foundation as you may remember. They said on the news last week to be checking your basements with the snow melting for flooding and now with a good rain on top......I was downstairs this morning bringing up more laundry detergent and toilet paper and it seemed dry. Praying we stay that way! I have not done a lot today. My devotionals, showered, stripped my bed, arranged flowers for neighbors and delivered one, and made myself a yummy omelet. That is it so far!

Tennis shoes despite the fact that none of us play tennis! but then i don't try to sneak up on people either so neither name really fits. LOL

Well, besides vacuuming, everything is done. Dh will do that later right before the parents arrive. Then mil brings the dog biscuits and it ruins the nice clean carpets.

Chewie, how is your son's friend with the spider bite doing? Is he home from the hospital yet?

Lucky, how was the visit with the grandkids? You have one today as well, right? Sounds like you had some fun things planned!

I just made a bunch of homemade lc tortilla chips. I took my purchased lc tortillas(big ones for only 6 carbs ea) and brushed them with oil and then cut them up, salted them and baked at 400 for about 14 minutes. Perfecto!!! Now the boys can enjoy the guacamole and hot queso dip today in style!!!!

Dh went to check out that rug I wanted. I hope it's nice and he buys it. I listed dh's leather recliner for free on craigslist, it's broken but people want it. Someone is coming today. It'll be good to get it off the front porch. It looks like Sanford and Son. lol

Wow, it's eerily quiet on here lately.

Deb--how did the moving go? How is Ashley?

Melinda--how's your cooking and walking going? How is your ds?

Lony--did you get your tennis shoes? Anything else?

KC--how is your youngest doing now with eating and her braces?

I got six loads of laundry done and I got the car all washed and vacuumed.

I have several crafty projects going on so that has been taking up my time. Between that and the extra workouts I have been busy.
