So I'm back from bargain hunting. Got a few things: a big unsliced brand name deli ham---$1.99 a pound--had to buy a 10 lb chunk but we have a slicer so dh will slice it nice and thin and we'll freeze it in packs. Also 3 lbs of all beef foot long hotdogs for $5.99---still have footlong buns in the freezer although we're all low carbing so I won't even take any out unless one of the boys wants one. I'll toast it and it'll be fine. That's about it for today. I took a pound of ground round out of the freezer to make a small pot of chili/no beans for the hot dogs---footlong chili dogs!!!! YUMMMMMM

Well I called the doc office cause all night he has had this...more than usual.....he is going next month for some blood work for his blood sugar

But he looked at his last lab results and said he isn't lacking in anything that would cause these cramps.,,, but I told him since I have known him he had had these cramps....

Anyway I appreciate it....maybe I can sneak some of that ACV in diet lemonade..

Yes, they are good but they are mainly chicken. I want beef. My family loves beef. lol I have seen $3 a pound grass fed beef here but you have to buy 1/2 a cow. Although we would eat it, that's a lot of money. 1/2 a cow is like 800 pounds or so---I think. Lucky, is that the usual case?

Evening everyone!
I delivered Layla and ELi back to their mom and on the way home Eli felt sick and vomited all over in their car! Better her car than mine!!! I hope it is just something he ate and he isn't coming down with that stomach virus. She says he is feeling ok now.
Melinda...my mom used to suffer bad from leg cramps. I wonder if diabetes has anything to do with it? I hope he gets some relief. They hurt SO bad!
Lony....did you read where Steve Martin has become a father at 68? I think that is his age or somewhere around that. Now that is grandpa time. Not dad time!!! Of course rich people can afford nannies and such. If they lived in normal houses and a normal working life like us then I doubt having kids at a late age would be as appealing. It's not fair to the kids to have a78 yr. old dad when you are 10 yr. old like his kid will have.

Well I think it will be breakfast for supper around here tonight!

B-protein drink, 3 sausage/cheese balls.
L-veggie beef soup, turkey slices
S-protein drink
D-scramble eggs, bacon, sausage, flax pan cake, with a cup of coffee on the side!!!

My soon to be 13 yr. old grand son just called to ask if I would bake him one of my Angel Food Cakes with cream cheese icing. How could I say anything but "Of Course I Will"!
Now just to keep my fingers out of the icing. OMG....I love cr. cheese icing!! I've been to good to fall off the wagon now!!
