Sue - my dh has a big moniter because of his macular degeneration - had to take a look at your little bear again. It is the same size on his moniter - about 15". What terrific pictures of your mama. Such wonderful memories - and you have your daddy's suede sweater - put them side by side - too cute and special.

Lucky I don't know if its good..I have never made it....my Hubs complains because he says my burgers come out to big, and they rise....he hates meatloaf. I love it,,,

Hmm- is this a male thing? My dh says the same thing about my burgers - and he doesn't like meatloaf and I do........

On the money quarterbacks and football players make - it upsets me too. This world of ours is so lopsided when it comes to money. Just read that 3 Lamborghini (sp is wrong i know) are being sold for $4M each........I keep wondering how in the heck they can cram $4M worth of parts into basically A CAR???? I just don't understand sometimes, so much is out of whack.

Bummer. Here I thought we just might have made it through the winter with no snow. If you will remember I asked all of you wishing for snow, to just keep it to yourselves. I didn't want any. They are calling for us to get 4-6" now......by tomorrow night. DH has his retina specialist apt tomorrow, so will be interesting whether we go or not. I'm not chancing being on the roads, not in this busy area.

I tried to copy Rachael Ray....by making the center of the burger lower so she it cooks its up to the same size.....but it didn't help..,,

b urns me up think how many animals or old people 4M could help let alone the 12 from the total of all 3
just been thinking about meals on wheeels and stuff my Mommie had 2 friends that were sisters and if they had not had the program they would have been dead long before they were they are 2 of the ones i used to bake pies for at every holiday

I walked 4 miles and then blew it by eating a bag of microwave popcorn.

Lony....I just want to sit here and cry for your baby Carol. I pray they are wrong and all will be ok. Listen, if pop corn is the worse thing you could come up with you are doing ok.

Chewie....What ages are your boys? You may have said but I was reading so fast since I haven't been on today that I could have missed that part.
We do have a nice zoo for sure. The aquarium is on the south end of town around Jenks. Jenks is a neat little town if you are into antiques! They have a neat little down town. Jenks has the River walk area that has shopping and eats. I have never been there. They have the Melting Pot which I understand is a really neat place to eat. It's a fondue place. It's not real cheap but a fun and good place to go they say.
There is Incredible pizza that older kids love. They have games and fun things like that. We do have a couple of nice museums but I doubt that kids would be to excited about that! Other than that I really can't think of anything else. If they are into malls the Woodland Hills down south off of 169 on 71st is the place to go. There are a ton of places to stay and lots of eating places down in that area. 169 will also take you right on around to the exit for the aquarium. I don't know if there is ball base started up by then or not. We have a great base ball field by down town Tulsa. Lots of eating places down there also.

Ok.....I weighted this morning and was expecting a good loss because I have been really really good!!! I didn't lose a pound!! I'll wait a day or two and weigh again to see it I drop some.

It's time for supper and I need to get busy. I am SO hungry. Nothing but a shake and an apple for lunch!!!!!

I am so impressed - 4 miles - you are woman - we hear you roaring. That is a long way - lol - you wore off those calories way before you even ate the popcorn.

Now - did you walk 4 miles to get rid of some stress/anger or was that just the new program? I wish I could walk like that - I do good to just do my chores running around - think I would look a little ridiculous pushing a shopping cart for 4 miles - well - actually - i would be IN the shopping cart - sitting on the side of the road - oh - about the 1/4 mile mark. I am so out of shape with walking.

LOL it was anger! 1 lap around the RV park is 1/3 of a mile. I did 12 laps not even really thinking about it. I need to do that more often.

Hi Deb........I'm always doing that too - the cost of things - and how much good it would do for the homeless children and how many programs it could help. I delivered meals on wheels - I loved it - such a great program. Some of the people you deliver too - it's the only contact with another person in their day.

I want to thank you for thinking about me. I think about you every day - always hoping that the blues are lifting for you too. Some days it just seems like I dig myself a little deeper. Got to keep pulling ourselves up though - it has to lift - right?

My eyes are really good. I'm about to get my new glasses next week. Things are brighter - she said my vision is what it was when I was 16..........when I first got glasses for distance. Told her I wish I looked like I did when I was 16. And moved that way - wow - that would be so nice..........boy - when I dream - I dream big don't I?

hmm - well there is Cadbury's chocolate eggs. Although have to admit - I do not like to see that yellow middle............lol - so I always buy the caramel.. Problem solved - but - not the carb overload. Darn - always a catch, isn't there?
