I am a hot mess!
I really am. Tipping the scale at 213. They went up on my neurontin again and I gained 10 more pounds. I am having serious health problems. I have sleep apnea with hypoxia even with the CPAP. I switched to a different doctor for my apnea, a pulmonologist. He seems to know more about my central sleep apnea than the neurologist I was going to. My DDD and arthritis is bad too. Losing weight won't cure everything but at least I can feel a little better. I am on disability now, I have peripheral neuropathy in both arms and pelvic floor prolapse.
I am giving up on being thin, but I just want to be able to walk up a flight of stairs without getting out of breath. I want to fit into my fattest clothes. I am now in my husband's sweat pants most of the time. Last time I was here, I got down to the 170's and I still felt fat, so I gave up. But at least I felt healthy, so that is my goal. 175. I plan on eating only protein, fruits and veggies and healthy fats. Here is my food for today: B: coffee B: late-11:30 Scrambled eggs w/ cheese made in coconut oil, cantelope L: late-4:30 salmon and snap peas. Coffee. S: Too late for dinner, an apple sliced dipped in homemade yogurt with protein powder and so much cinnamon it was spicy. It was a rough day. Went to PT and on the counter was a candy cannister filled with snack packs of sweettarts (my addiction) - AVOIDED! At the gas station, tray of black-bottoms - DODGED! Its serious this time. Where is the challenge I was in? I don't recognize the names, but is it the easter bunny challenge?

Hop on over to the Easter Bunny Challenge. Your name sounds familiar from back in the day. I think it is real important to make time for the meals because if we get too hungry, we set ourselves up for the fast food stuff we don't eat.

I'm so sorry you are going through all of this. losing wt is hard, especially with added health issues, but you can do this, especially with the help of the great people on these boards! |

Sticking with your plan is so important. There will be ups and downs but in the long run the trend downward on the scale will happen. Hang in there and keep thinking positive thoughts and be hopeful and motivated.
