I find that interesting because I suspect that the CRP test is for bodily inflammation that's 'harmful' to organs--such as the heart. The reason I mention that is because I have a certain level of inflammation from my arthritis that's constant--and I control the pain, as I've explained.

However, my last CRP test was 0.2--way below any problems with inflammation. Yet I know I experience 'inflammation' in my joints on a continual basis, so that must be testing something else.

That's also consistent with my very high HDL--(usually between 95 and 110), another indicator of heart health.

Easter Challenge Report
I hope we start a new Challenge because this was a total failure for me. My overall goal was:

My goal for this Challenge is to get into my preferred 'range' of 141-43, and find my best WOE to remain there.

But what actually happened is that I struggled to remain in the higher 140s (146 this morning) and spent weeks doing 'damage control' because of periodic overeating (binge behavior).

I need another Challenge to address my goal--tomorrow is 1 April, and I plan to begin working toward the goal that I didn't attain.

I just started up the new one. It is called the Memorial Day Challenge. I hope two months isn't too long.

I can't officially weigh in until tomorrow morning since I am not at home. I am just about to lose juice on my IPAD. I left my charger at home. Dang!

Congratulations, Michele, that's great! You should be very proud of yourself.

Thanks for the new Challenge, Mary. I think 2 months is 'just right.' Perhaps I can do it right this time. It's nice to have a second chance at my goal.

Happy Easter, everyone!

My goal was to stay on induction and lose 10 lbs. I mostly stayed on induction, with the occasional fat fast and dinner out but I only lost about 5-6 lbs

Looking forward to the next challenge.

Weigh in was the same as my signature weight 158.4 lbs down from 163.4, so I did meet my goal of 5 lbs. The walking program I wanted to restart got a slow start, but has picked up a little steam near the end.

Congrats to everyone for hanging in there and trying each day like it's a new beginning.
