Tammy's Tuesday

Day #2 of LC! Today has been rough. I know the first few weeks are hard and I'm up for the challenge. It has been especially hard today because I'm not stocked up on lc foods. Hope to get stocked in the next couple days. I did complete a workout today at the ymca. I will not be going at 10am anymore! Way too busy for me. lol

Bkfst: Ham/cheese rollup
Lunch: Tuna Salad/1 slice of bread
Dinner: 2 italian brats, turnip greens

I did pick up my soymilk so i can have a lc protein shake in the morning. My BG is down to 168 this evening... much improved from past evening readings.

When possible, I like to set up my schedule so my workout is at the end of the work day. That way I don't have to tear myself away from something else I could be doing, and it's just a routine that lets me detach from the stresses of the day.

I don't know if that's an option for you with the caretaking you do, but if you're looking for a better time to go to the Y, it's worth trying.

Thank you Bianca... I have found that going around 2 in the afternoon works best... and that is right before work. =)
